What's a good (easy to use) inexpensive (cheap/free) video compression program?

Quite a few Flower. Blaze media Pro is one. Go to download.com and check there.

 it will squish them so they are smaller for storing and sending?

I use "Pinnacle Mobile Media Converter" to get video to my iPod.

Works ok so far
