Because there is nothing to knock on those. All clean reps, head and ass on the bench the whole time.

a lot easier to have an impressive bench when you don't squat.

Ben doesn't squat.

I'm aware of that. I was wanting to know how not squatting makes having an impressive bench easier.

no stress on the shoulders from holding a heavy bar behind your neck and no overall physical and mental fatigue from heavy squatting both make heavy benching a lot easier, no less an authority on lifting than Ed Coan thinks the same way but i'm sure you're wayyyyyyyyy bigger and stronger than him. ::)

Don't understand the snide remark at the end, as I was only looking for your viewpoint after the original statement that you made.

hey squadnutz, what do I have to lie about, I use to bench 225 for 45 reps every monday supersetting it with 125 lb. dumbbells for 15-20 reps, did it many times, one time with chris cook the retired bber spotting me, one time all-pro keith bullock of the tennessee titans was training with me, I was natural repped it for 39, you clowns would grimace in hating disgust if I posted pics when I had 20 and 3/4 arms, along with great huge physique, still look great at 245 natural, you posers on this board are clowns like you squadnutz, even ron avidan was speechless when he saw me in person at venice beach talking to bob chic, Im a real lifter, you clowns are computer typing clowns, who workout your fingers only.

That is true. Also doing a bench only meet is a lot easier then doing three lift. Way less stress and way more energy if you dont have to squat first. Not that I am trying to take anything away from bench only guys but there is a reason bench only records are so much higher then three lift bench records.
