He is a curse to every team he plays for

Quiet yourself. We'll take him.

serious why whould we want him?

he is an EXTREMELY talented player but the Sox have a great thing going and I honestly think he would disrupt the chemistry in the clubhouse. Again he is the best player in baseball but as a Sox fan i'm hoping they resign Lowell

A-Rod is the Chad Nicholls of baseball: at first it looks like he's doing lots of good, but in reality, he's slowly destroying things over time.

I don't think he's the "best player in baseball" (this is a very hard issue to figure out anyway b/c of so many variables) but I do agree he'd be a curse to the Sox. Like you said, they have a great thing going right now and A-Rod's prima donna bullshit would screw that up.

Oh I follow it like religion. Should we dig up his post season numbers? Maybe we should do a cost to championship ratio. His 50/140 isn't worth it in the long run. Would rather have good defenders/hard nosed players ala Lowell and Youk

Pedroia is already more clutch in playoffs

They should make an all out attempt to keep Lowell. He had the season of his life and could easily have another. He's just a good fit in Boston. He likes the city, the city loves him. Now its just a question of $$$ and the legnth of his contract. Theo, don't be cheep. We forgave you for the JD screwup, don't loose Lowell over pennies. He puts asses in seats and plays hard every game, the players respect him and he along with Verriteck (sp), brings a sense of order to the clubhouse.

A-Rod will be an Angel.
