wtf???? when is this from??
-
They could have used Goodrum

There is nothing wrong with the fact that chris came off everything and took a break from training, but he should not have been guest posing, thats for sure.

these guest posing pics caused him to lose the Gamma-O and weider contracts. Since he wasn't earning any prize money, he had to get a day job and has since retired from pro BBing.
Getbig claimed another victim!
-
This is definitely an old pic...he was whipping through the crowd at the O and looked more like a skinny MMA fighter. He is half his old size.
-
I hope the promoter got his money back that he paid Chris for that showing.

chris took the check.
then the boards applied the heat.
3 weeks later, cook mailed the promoter a refund.

Hey, at least Chris did the right thing...even though he probably would have kept the check if the boards had been silent.
-
No one should guest pose looking like crap. >:(
-
they actually paid himfor that he ought to be embarrased of himselve. i would of gave him a whopper value meal. that looks about what his diet consists of

Who is that?

Yes. Whenever anyone defends Chris, they always say "What's the big deal - he gave back the check!"
In reality, he only returned the money because thousands of fans and industry folks were looking at those pics talking about what a heel he was for accepting the $ when he looked terrible.
I'd give him all the respect in the world if he had showed up contractually, looked poor, and refused the check ON THE SPOT. Returning the money later was just a move to save face - NOT do the right thing.
-
Who is that?
Looks like Branch Warren to me......or a powerlifter who decided to guest pose.....
-
i look like chris cook does in these pictures.
well, that is to say his bf% and skin tone match mine at present. ;D ;D ;D
-
Who is that?
Branch Warren

i think if they guest-posed in shorts or something, it wouldn't look half as bad. like gym shorts above the knees.
the truncs don't bode so well with chunky off-season asses...

lol...without a doubt, Chris Cook put every offseason bodybuilder to shame. This dude should never step on stage again

He already had people buy tickets to the show and as a name guest poser he helped sell those tickets. Now, if the ticket buyers got a refund for or 50% refund since many go regional shows to see a friend compete, THAT would be fine. I see no reason for any out of shape guest poser to give a refund UNLESS it is stated in the contract and part of the IFBB pro code. Most of these pros don't make that much off the sport and he is far from the only guy to ever guest pose out of shape. Ig Cook has to give his fee back so do more than half of the pros who ever guest posed as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's fine if he took a break from training, drugs etc, but at the same time the only obligation that a pro BB has is to come in shape. That is his job, and his body is his source of income he could of put a little more effort into the proccess considering that posing on stage is his "career".

You're ignorant.
Please post pics of 5 pros guest posing, looking worse.
You cannot.
-
We don't know the whole story. I would blame the promoter if Chris was never asked specifically whether he would be in shape to do a guest posing. If he was contractually obligated I don't put any blame on the guy. You can analyse when he gave the money back but the boards didn't put up that much of a stink.

im surprised md has not signed him

And to think Chris said on PBW he will win the Mr Olympia. Delusional +
