after watching tonights game(which was awesome) i started thinking again if the system they have in OT in the NFL is fair.
basically what it comes down to is who wins the coin toss. first team to score doesnt seem quite fair.
i think a system more like the CFL would be a better idea. each team gets the ball at least once. if on each teams first(or subsquent) try one team gets a TD and the other gets a FG then the team with the TD wins. if they both get a TD or FG then they each get another turn. after say 3 or 4 turns its stull tied then it stays tied...or keep going til someone wins
what do you guys think?

I think I didn't like tonights game. :(

I would have bet my house that GB lost this game. I still can't believe Denver called a QB sneak/draw on 3rd and goal in the 4th. It's a horrible call....No time outs....down by 3 and they try to run it in as the clock is winding down? Wow.
On the plus side, it's fun to see the long strikes Favre threw.

That throw was awesome. Favre is like 500.

It was a great throw but the ending was past my bedtime :-\

I don't have a problem with the overtime procedure.
I got a big problem with the NFL's pass interference penalty. I think the college version is much better and doesn't quite throw the game out of whack the way it does in the NFL.

I think college OT is better than the NFL'S but i don't ever see the owners voting on a rule change.
