Are you sure you're not referring to immigrants?

Migrants are those who leave, eg the Brits who migrated from UK and went to America.


You become an immigrant in the new country.

PS, is it true one must be able to fit a medium sized Swede up ones anus to become a naturalised citizen of Sweden? A friend tells me it's true.

The term suggests that jobs are going to migrants, ie people leaving UK.

Which isn't true.

The article is about how jobs are being filled by people coming into UK.

People coming into UK = Immigrants.
