Most recently for me was England, before that I was in north Africa
As the winter is coming to Europe I'm thinking of going somewhere warm... I'm actually checking that out right now 8)

This year, south of Marsa Alam, great diving, awesome underwater scenery, good visibility, lots of life (be sure to expect sharks as well as turtles, eagle rays, a whole range of fish, hard and soft coral).
Don't forget Elfinstone reef:

where in south america?
I'm thinking about Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador or a combi of two of these, maybe Peru & Bolivia.
I like to explore the outdoors, as well as meeting different cultures. Might as well walk the Inca trail, which has some mind-blowing scenery to offer, next to old Inca ruins, such as the famous Macchu-Pichu ruin at the end of the trail. I have to book that trail in advance. Much to see there. Have to work on my Spanish, though.

sounds good, ive never been to south america, mainly because of it's pretty far to travel and you would wanna be there for quite some time so it takes a little planning
brazil is pretty cheap these days though (still a long flight which im not thrilled about)

You going to take this vacation in celebration of 20K posts?
-
My mate went to Cuba some weeks ago.
He said it was very nice and the local girls are more than eager to hook up with a westerner. Better not to go out with a full wallet though. I don't think it's our pasty white skin they're attracted to :).
This summer i've been to Lisbon (Portugal) and Naples (Italy). Next trip will probably be Madrid or Barcelona. Or maybe Rome. The Balkan (Croatia/Serbia) is also on my to-do list.
Turkey is pretty cheap too, it's like the new Spain. But probably the weather is not that good right now (same in Egypt). If i were u i'd save the money and maybe take a holiday in the spring. Unless you can afford to go further away, then Central america or south america would be my preferred choice.
-
here's my last 4 vacations, the accomodations were kind of cramped, the food was terrible, and the locals were hard to deal with. I don't recommend it.

Dunno, i'm Belgian.
Yes, it's quite far. Wouldn't go that far unless it's for at least 14 days.
Egypt would also be nice to see i think. Probably better now than in the summer (too hot). I'm not too crazy for muslim countries though. If i wanna see thousands of muslims, i just take a trip downtown :).

hows it like being belgian ? i cant find a reason to go there and the best reason to be in belgium is that it's close to OTHER countries ;D ;)
no offense, but thats the impression ive got

Bros, where did you go on vacation last time?

None taken. We have some nice cities though (Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent,...) but i guess nothing really spectacular.
I have no particular feelings about being Belgian. It's not a real country anyway (we have 3 official languages, 6 governments, a rich north and a poor south which hate each other, a lot of muslims who don't integrate, ...). I feel more European, small minded thinking like patriotism isn't really for me.
-
yeah patriotism is a bunch of bullshit. unless it's the world cup in football :D
-
Wisconson
Why the hell would you go to Wisconsin for vacation? Going senile, old man?
-
Mount Pleasant, Mi. There is a casino there and I went for a few days. Not really a "vacation". Before that Vegas, and Vegas before that, and about 10 more trips to Vegas with a few Mexico trips thrown in. I am sure I would like Hawaii if I were with the right bitch, but I just can't imagine going anywhere other the Vegas really. I went on Spring break from 15 to 24 and hit all the spots in that span, but that was forever ago.

Not if you're belgian :-\
Of course i'll root for my country cause i grew up here. But for the rest i appreciate other countries/cultures as well...
