Title: The Jay Cutlers share a name
Post by: musclecenter on November 03, 2007, 11:18:13 PM
One is "Olympia Jay" ,another is "Bronco Jay ".
NFL's "Bronco Jay "is 24 years old and bench-press 225 pounds only .
"Olympia Jay" is 34 and bench-press over 550 pounds !

Same between Bronco Jay and Olympia Jay -- they both worked at their family's concrete companies at their early day.
(Bronco Jay at his dad's, Cutler & Son Concrete, Olympia Jay at his brothers', Cutler Bros. Concrete)

Any reason to bring BB into the spotlight for a bit can't really hurt.. I'm glad they picked up on that.

Well at least they don't say anything negative about Jay or bodybuilding. Nice change. But it seems weird that someone would mistake Olympia Jay for Bronco Jay. No football player looks like Olympia Jay.

As I know that SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's articles always negative to pro bodybuilding before this one.

Where does it say people are confusing or mistaking the two Jay Cutlers. More like comparing.

Decent article - at least it doesn't put bodybuilders in a negative light for a change.

At least the photo wasn't from this year's Olympia, the QB would be more vascular.

The top three at the '07 Olympia all share a name with another pro athlete.  Jay Cutler of the Broncos, Victor Martinez of the Indians, and Dexter Jackson of the Bengals.

probably.  it doesn't help matters much that Marvin Harrison will likely sit it out.

True. The Pats are scary good this year.
I think Bellichek is angry they fined him. So now he's just crushing everyone instead of sandbagging the whole season. Haha.

If I was a Coach I would never sandbag..Unless the starters wanted to sit out I would let em run up the score (and their personal stats) as much as they could.

Here comes the argument about getting your starters hurt.

He benched 225 for about 23 reps at the combine.  I think it was last week James Brown mentioned the two on NFL Today.

No. If I was a coach, and the team was capable, I would stomp every team into the ground. I don't understand the "We're ahead so lets sit on the lead and get defensive" strategy. Push the advantage and destroy em'. Makes the next team scared to face you. Automatic advantage before you even play the next team.
Maybe thats the Marine coming out in me.  ;D

jay's pic does NOT need to be in sports illustrated magazine.  it will only turn the public farther away from bb.
