My team couldn't beat a high school team, yet I still root for them ::) why...

  The same reason chics stay with losers who beat them and won't work... You love them for what they used to be and you hope they will change..even though they never will.  ;D

I can live with that... actually it looks like it will be a lot longer than that, but I hold hopes for one day :)
