Well i've started on a high protein diet with as little carbs as possible, and was wondering what is good foods to eat. Obviously i'm eating a fair amount meats (chicken, tuna, some beef) and eggs (mostly egg whites), but from a financial point of view, that all adds up after a while. Are there any other things out there that are suitable and relatively cheap?

How about whole eggs instead of egg whites. You could always shop in bulk for your chicken & such (Costco, Sam's, etc).

how much protein you ingesting daily?

either go ZERO carbs/moderate fats, or go moderate carbs/moderate fats. low carb diets blow nuts.
as for protein tuna in water is very cheap and ideally portioned. thats about as cost effective as it is going to get. (where im at in cali its about 55 cents a can...so if eating 6 meals daily, one can of tuna per meal, thats under 4 bucks a day for all of your protein needs.)

Yeah, think ill just stick to the cans of tuna, nice and cheap, and look into buying some chicken in bulk. Also, yes i am pretty much keeping carbs very low <30g and am keeping fats (healthy) at a moderate level, mostly through salmon oil tablets, taking roughly 8 a day, i think they're like 1000mg of salmon oil each tablet. And also through some natural peanut butter.

By the way i am taking protein powder, i just don't want to get all my protein from shakes obviously. Yeah, ill just stick to the chicken,tuna, eggs and so on.

What a bout mercury and all that shit in Tuna?
I still eat it, but not that much.

i wouldnt eat tuna more often than a couple of times a week or so
