it is only gonna make you boob-like chests. I read that it is not wise to do decline, it'll make your chest sagg and looks like a breast. The way to pump it up is doing incline, i think.

Incline, Incline, Incline I had the same problem about 3 yrs ago and since then I usually put inclines first in my workout and it made a huge difference...Ive never done declines but i do perform weighted dips on shoulders day and think that hits the lower chest decently well

Declines are a waste IMO.

yeah i rather do dips. i dont think it's a good idea with the angle for declines and the blood rush to the head. not safe

Never really done declines. Whenever i did, i felt like it was hitting the front delts more than the actual pecs.

i honestly do not know my bf i haven't checked it in years, i am weighing 290(this is serious so no bs comments about everyone on getbig is 290 pounds of muscle hope the pic helps). incline is my focus and have been for about 4 years, i really don't go heavy on flat.
i did chest yesterday(wednesday), this is my workout for chest

i warm up my shoulders with a side laterals,  front raises and miliitary press combo with 5, 10, and 15 pound dumbells.  i do this three times followed by pushups after each set.

incline 135 x 8, 225 x 8, 295 x 6, 345 x 6, 375 x 3 with a spot
incline bumbell flyes 50 x 15, 60 x 15, 70 x 12, 80 x 9 (i do15 pushups after each set of flyes)
flat 135 x 8, 205 x 8, 255 x 8, 285 x 6 ( i usually 10 pushups after each set of flat bench)

i started the pushups about a month ago

i hope the small pic helps

No offense but if that's really you in that pic, as opposed to some wrestler's pic you pulled from a google search, you're a huge dude and should be pushing wayyyyyy more than 285 for 6 on flat bench...

285 for 6 after all that work is very respectible in my book.

they do work as its possible to hit "lower chest" (and upper) some degree (not inner or outer tho). BUT, most people will never need to do decline pressing because regular bench press and other pressing exercise will take care of the lower pecs + overdeveloped lower pecs looks like you got sag tits.

so if your chest is hanging too much already. dont do em. focus on (flat and) incline presses.

i agree, most guys turn it into a stomach press with a 4 inch ROM anyway.

LOL...Yep.  I have NEVER seen a big dude on the decline.  Always little high school fags that do it because the "coach" said it will build lower pecs.  ::)

takes them half the workout just to get into position

Weighted dips will work the area fine while hitting front delts and triceps.  Personally I feel more lower pec work after dips than when I tried decline after.

I like using decline as my first exercise that way I can go heavy. Honestly based on your pic I would diet down and then re-evaluate. It's probably fat that makes it feel like it's hanging.

I think decline bench is lame, and all that jazz, but then i tried the decline hammer strength, and i dunno it just hit my chest amazingly well. I fucking love the thing, its incredible. I'm not tryin to built my lower peck or any of that faggy bullshit, it just hits my entire peck really well i find

Why not just flat bench and warm up properly?  Flat bench will sufficiently work the lower pec and there's not much need to do it unless you like the Earnest Borgnine tits look.
