I dont know how many of you guys go to airshows for entertaiment but I do.
I just got back from one where for the first time in history a live fire show was done at one.
A 120kg bomb was dropped.
An Air to air missle was fired at a flare.
An attack chopper fired rockets and then straffed the ground with cannon fire.

The high light of the show for me was when an old General Electric Lighting buzzed the crowd, probally one of the loudest planes that ever was out there.
Lots of old and new stuff.

That bright speck in the air is a air to air missile launched at a flare fired by a 120mm motar.

These guys are good.
There was alot of good stuff but my camera is not made for this so most of the high speed action pics did not turn out well

havent been to one since i was a kid but ive been meaning to check one out lately, arishows are awesome

Man when I had my condo in Honolulu, the jets would fly right in front of it.  The airshow was awesome.  As a kid I went to the Pt. Magoo airshow a few times.  They just had the Nellis Airshow I think here.
