there is alot left. I took this from another site

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The following are all new discoveries and probable additions to existing oil reserves made just in the past 2-3 years . . .

1 billion barrels in Gabon (http://eastbay.bizjournals.com/eastbay/stories/2006/03/27/daily4.html)
3.5 billion barrels in India (http://www.tribuneindia.com/2006/20060906/biz.htm#7)
730 million barrels in the UK North Sea (http://www.martinfrost.ws/htmlfiles/northsea_bonanza.html)
1.7 billion barrels in Angola (http://www.africanoiljournal.com/5-12-2006%20angola%20reserves%20in%20block%2017%2018%20estimated%20at%20one%20billion%20barrels.htm)
Up to 90 million barrels in Newfoundland (http://www.oilonline.com/news/headlines/ephotline/20060621.Husky_En.21534.asp)
15 billion barrels in the Gulf of Mexico (http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/09/06/business/oil.php)
Up to 250 million barrels in Alaska (http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=38418)
Up to 700 million barrels in Cambodia (http://ki-media.blogspot.com/2006/11/oil-discovery-brings-caution-for.html) - there's some indication that could be even larger
Up to 70 million barrels in the Dutch North Sea (http://www.oilonline.com/news/headlines/business/20061030.Horizon_.22538.asp)
Up to 200 million barrels off the coast of California (http://www.lompocrecord.com/articles/2006/11/10/news/news02.txt)
2 billion barrels in Iran (http://www.gulfoilandgas.com/webpro1/MAIN/Mainnews.asp?id=4013)
Up tp 10 billion barrels in Brazil (http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=41092) - this one gives a very wide range of estimates of reserves, so I'll go with only 5 billion barrels
Up to 500 million barrels off the north coast of Norway (http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=41798)
Up to 60 billion barrels in Libya (http://www.africanoiljournal.com/03-08-2007%20arabian_gulf_oil_co%20of%20libya%20makes%20new%20and%20big%20discovery.htm)
Up to an additional 100 billion barrels in Iraq (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003672943_webiraqoil19.html) - the USGS is more pessimistic, says there is "only" an additional 45 billion barrels of reserves. I'll use that figure instead.
7.5 billion barrels in China's Bohai Bay (http://news.mongabay.com/2007/0508-china.html)
400 million barrels in Alaska (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/Page/document/v5/content/subscribe?user_URL=http://www.theglobeandmail.com%2Fservlet%2Fstory%2FLAC.20070510.RTALISMAN10%2FTPStory%2FBusiness&ord=3518022&brand=theglobeandmail&force_login=true) - not yet commercially viable due to remote location, but it's there if needed
450 million barrels in the Phillipines (http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=45066)
1.47 billion barrels in western China (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a5d7iNxb47AA&refer=home)
At least 10 billion barrels in Russia (http://english.chosun.com/w21data/html/news/200706/200706010003.html)
1.1 billion barrels in Kenya (http://www.bdafrica.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1309&Itemid=4413)
600 million barrels in Ghana (http://www.rte.ie/business/2007/0618/tullow.html)
Up to 1.25 billion additional barrels in Norway (http://www.hemscott.com/news/latest-news/item.do?newsId=45709189579134)
Up to 300 million barrels in Uganda (http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/10/08/business/AF_FIN_Uganda_Oil.php)
370 - 515 million barrels in Vietnam (http://www.oilandgasinsight.com/file/38709/major-vietnam-offshore-oil-discovery.html) - I'll use a mid-range 440 million barrels
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total: 159.43 billion barrels.

For comparison, Iran has proven reserves around 132 billion barrels.

Now, let's go to unconventional oil . . .

First, let's look at the following study:
http://www.energy.gov.ab.ca/docs/oilsands/pdfs/RPT_Chops_app3.pdf (http://www.energy.gov.ab.ca/docs/oilsands/pdfs/RPT_Chops_app3.pdf)
^
According to the study, there is an estimated 1.2 trilion barrels of oil in Venezuela's oil sands, and an estimated 2.2 trillion barrels in Canada's oil sands, for a total of 3.4 trillion barrels.

I will be conservative and say that only half of that will ultimately be recoverable. That still gives you 1.7 trillion barrels.

Then there are western oil shale deposits described in this article here (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601109&sid=aoZ7q9LhDrVs&refer=home). According to the article, there are an estimated 1.5 trillion barrels of oil there. Once again I'll be conservative and say that only half will ultimately be recoverable. That gives us 750 billion barrels.

In addition, there are an estimated 60 billion barrels of oil (http://www.spiegel.de/international/spiegel/0,1518,334165,00.html) in the waters around the Falkland Islands. This is an area which is being actively explored (http://www.oilvoice.com/Rockhopper_Exploration_Provides_Falkland_Islands_Exploration/10232.htm).

Now, add 'em all up . . .

159.43 billion barrels of recent discoveries and probable additions to existing reserves
1.7 trillion barrels in Canada's and Venezuela's oil sands
750 billion barrels in western oil shale
60 billion barrels around the Falkland Islands
----------------------------------------------------
Total: 2,669.43 billion barrels of oil.

According to this here (http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/ene_oil_pro_res-energy-oil-proved-reserves), Saudi Arabia has proven reserves of 262.7 billion barrels.

Now many Saudi Arabias is this? Do the math . . .

2,669.43 / 262.7 = 10.16 Saudi Arabias!!

Its based on how much its cost per barrel in relation  to how much it costs to get it out. All the oil companies work on a $17 per barrel cost..even if they went up to 40 bucks a barrel, gas would still be about $1:30. They need to readjust this, its been set like this for years.

What's your point?  Are you joining in some kind of wacky attack on me by trying to goat me with words on death :-\  Either that or your comments went right over my head which is what I'm hoping this is.

I noted based on an article I read.  Obviously by the numbers posted after my post, there are huge reserves in what looks way bigger than we've been led to believe.
