In this world of guns and knives, it can happen to anyone.
-
Makes perfect sense they couldn't solve that murder. Vegas is a pretty desolate place. ::)
It's funny how the government doesn't give a shit when a rapper gets shot...strange? You'd think cops would be jumping to solve this case. :)

Why should they? The government are just as happy to have one less bad influential figure out of this country.
"George Bush hates black people"

More importantly, why do black people insist on posing with money and cruising in Bentleys or Rolls Royces or something in music videos?

Well, that's a pretty broad generalization. Maybe, why do rappers, would be more accurate.
Why? It's tough for me to think on that same sub IQ level, but I'd assume it's about proving something. Most their lives they never had much, now they have a few dollars, so it shows some kind of "success". Really, it just shows how low class and low income go very well together.

Good point. America is one dumb country, no doubt about it. Even more so, the youth. ;)
I love living here and appreciate the freedom and benefits it has to offer, but let's face it, we amongst idoits. Take a look at Vegas alone. If I had a dollar for every Hummer or Escalade I see with rims...just morons. Rap star emulator mobiles. ::) Even better, lease ones.

HAHAHAHA... :D

Tupac is alive, dammit! >:(

2Pac does look pretty cut in that autopsy pic. head to toe. Shredded.

Have we found a fourth part to Croatch's personality? Can we look forward to rappers, video's/protein shakes, fake DD's, and natty BBing being part of future Croatch posts?
In the case of the rappers, I agree with Croatch though.
The money, cars, and the like; are all part of the mentality that "I've made it." Growing up in a ghetto with nothing nice to speak of, and having only family to fall back on. Your job sucks, the money you earn sucks, you may/may not do drugs or be a dealer and you're constantly watching your back. Not a good way to live. Then you have a hit "record" and have all the money in the world. I'd be showing off too. :D
For others, they know no other way. They grow up watching their parents do the same thing, so they think it's right because that's all they see and assume there's one way to do it. They don't go out and earn their money the right way, they don't know how to act or whatever the case may be.
Fortunately, I've never had to live that life. 8)

hahahaha, that second picture is beautiful, now only 20 million more to go. :D

Would you say you chat with a lot of ten year old boys, Spinnis?

Tupac is ripped and shredded there fo shizzle.
Just imagine the street cred increase for the guy who put Tupac in a bodybag...
-
Hah, I watched some documentary on crips. I forget the name of it (on google video). Obviously I do not live in the US and am naive on this subject but I had no idea that these black gangmembers think that holding out dollar bills equates to some sort of achievement. I can see them at the bank getting angry if they don't get their entire 1200$ savings in one dollar bills.

That's what we call (on this coast anyhow) "an Oakland Roll."
You have a $50 or a $100 bill on top, and then about $20 worth of singles underneath, giving the impression that you have a wealth of $100 bills and you're rolling in dough.

2Pac's entourage refused to work with police.
2pac was killed with a .40 caliber Glock semi-automatic that belonged to fellow rapper Notorious BIG.
2Pac was shot by Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, himself killed at a car wash later the next year, after actually going on "Larry King Live" to deny he was 2Pac's killer.
2Pac and friends had "beat down" Anderson about 2 hours before the shooting, in a Las Vegas Casino over a past indident where Anderson stole a chain from one of Pac's friends. This incident was caught on surveillance tape.

My memory :)
I'm a big rap fan, and was a freshman in HS when he was shot in 95. You can find most of that info using google. I have followed the story on MTV, in the LV press, etc.
-
I seem to remember that Tupac's killer was later found to also be the killer of the Notorius B.I.G. too. I have no recollection of him dying a week after Tupac's murder.
Which one of us has a faulty memory?

no, they were of rival gangs.
When did I say a 'week' later?
-
Guns don't kill people, rappers do.

orlando was present at the same party, yes.
another man was the murder suspect, but never charged.

Nope, but if I see one doing it.
But nice try though:)

I recall everything you cited except for the murder weapon belonging to Notorious BIG. Where did you get that from?
Also, the Orlando Anderson theory was just a theory. Another theory was that it was Suge Knight himself who killed Pac because he was moving towards his own record label and Suge felt that if Pac died he would own all work in progress.
Not all of 2pac's entourage refused to work with the police - one member of "Outlawz" began cooperating with police and was himself murdered very soon afterwards. The remainder of Pac's friends probably refused to cooperate out of fear of having the same fate. Whoever was Pac's murderer was obviously quite feared - unlikely in my opinion to be that Orlando dude.
-
i like conspiracy theories too.
one problem though-
Suge knight was in the car with pac when he got shot. Suge was hit in the head with a bullet too, but it grazed his head and didn't kill him. I remember him being interviewed, asked if he had anything to do with it. his reponse: "Oh yeah, I set it up. And I told them 'Go ahead and shoot me in the head to make it look real'.
Also - Dre left Suge, and all Suge did was go to his house and make demands, and he got his way. He let dre go, so I imagine he'd let pac go too -they were running biddies.

Yeah each theory has some downfalls.
The most interesting part of the Suge theory--did you listen to the intro track of the Makavelli CD? This CD was released like 3 months after 2Pac died, and in the very beginning of the album there's a faint voice in the background that goes, "Suge shot him" as the intro starts. You have to listen to it closely to catch on--I didnt the first several times until someone told me to listen. Some people think that was one of his "Outlaw" buddies' way of anonymously getting the message out, by discretely recording it at the start of the album in a faint voice.
-
These two tough guys are ready for their money shots.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

I know they were in rival gangs. I saw something on TV, that's the extent of my knowledge of the entire case-admittedly not much, but then again I'm not pretending to be an expert on it by any means.
The week later was my mistake- I wasn't reading nor quoting your post at the time.
I like conspiracy theories, like this one. But, in the grand scheme of things, this one is nothing but intriguing compared to 9/11, JFK, what happened to Jimmy Hoffa/where is he buried, or when is Jimmy going to return!!!

Scroll down and the article cites that it's Tupac saying "Shoulda shot me" not "Suge shot me."
