Obviously he didnt aim to look the way he did, but why.. what went wrong with his prep.
I know he didnt take time off, maybe that was the case.
-
The years of GH have taken their toll on his physique IMO. He'll never be able to look like he did from 98-2002 again. Plus the muscle tears he's had really throw off his symmetry.

injury and age

I'm guessing part injury, part burnout (mentally and physically) and probably the biggest reason is that he's got to take more and more shit and the vicious cycle (pun not intended) continues, each time degrading his physique on stage.

You calling somebody idiot when you believe that one 'cutler-hair-wannabe, no arms' floW could win ASC ??? :-\
(Notice how I'm not even mentioning dudes name...because I don't remember that correctly and couldn't care less.)
I just assume you are dudes fan because you are that kind of moron.

I think Ronnie could win the ASC.

I think Ronnie could win the ASC.
And not only win but destroy other competitors.

Naah, Don't think so - I think the judges will always place him low now sadly regardless .... Politics

you're right about the politics, thats why an awful looking ronnie received an olympia gift with 4th place.

There's no way Ronnie will ever win another top pro show, no way. Dude should have retired after 2005.
His left lat is detached from it's origin at the thoracolumbar fascia, there is no way he can ever train properly with this type of injury. Not to mention the nerve compression or damage as well. Best thing for Coleman to do now is focus on his health.

i sometimes wonder if lee haney had something to do with it... maybe lee haney didn't want him to break his record so he put a stop to it using his connections with weider?

Depends who is competing! I do think he can win fairly. If he came in in his 2006 Olympia form I think he would take it easily.

Everyone in the sport says Haney is an absolute gentleman and example to all so no, don't think so. Ronnie just ran out of steam - 8 years at the top of the sport as it is now will take some beating. You can only abuse your body for so long!!

if i put myself in lee haneys shoes, i would of had sleepless nights losing my world record... know what i mean? being a gentleman has nothing to do with it imo.. i think he shoulda won the 06 olympia..

If we assume Jay is not competing in ASC (which is pretty obvious) then only possible guy to challenge Ronnie would be Victor.
Of course it depends totally what kind of package Ronnie could present - but yeah him being in 2006 O conditioning that wouldn't be a competition.

I agree. Victor is the only real threat in my opinion.

Ronnie plans to compete at the 2009 ASC.
See it for yourself....
