Title: NPC-Nationals Host Hotel-not sold out
Post by: larger_format on November 12, 2007, 05:37:26 PM
NPC Group Rates are gone-
but there are rooms available.

Why do they insist on holding the Nationals on (one of) the worst travel weekends of the year pre-THANKSGIVING

Because this is the cheapest weekend to rent out a location all year. Most traveled + Most shopping + No School = Cheap Rental of High School Auditorium.

It's not held at a high school auditorium but good attempt at reclaiming your wit on here.  ;)

So you're saying it's an upgrade over the Keystone Classic Pro Show from earlier in the year, which you told me was held in a high school auditorium??

Um, the Fairmont is hardly a low-rent facility.

I wouldn't be upset at all if they moved it to someplace less expensive!

If I recall correctly, keystone pro was held in a 1200 seat auditorium and had decent attendance.  I read it on flexonline.
