Whats up bro? I see what you are saying with Long. I think the pats would love him on the squad. But the pats are very very deep at the de position. I dont think long has the coverage skills to be converted to a lb in the 3/4. He is a pure DE. A very good one at that. Pats have Seymour , Warren , Wilfork , Greene and Wright. I dont think they will take on the contract of a top five pick.
Imo they will trade down , take a stud db or linebacker and net a 2009 first rounder or package of picks. The pats also have an extra third rounder from the raiders so I think they will pick up a DE on day two.
THat said I love long as a player. If the pats did not have so much depth on the line I would love for them to draft him.
I really like Vernon Gholston. I think he can be had later in the first round. More value there imo.

I never cease to be amazed at how lightly most Michigan "fans" treat their team. Their "fanhood" certainly doesn't come close to resembling the dedication of the Buckeye faithful.
Michigan fans seem to think it's too much of a commitment to go to their team's games. Those who go can't be bothered to cheer. They don't show much love for their team either.
Compare that to all the Ohio State who bleed Scarlet and Gray...

Well, columbusdude here is the fact i even came down to this state....my mom has cancer and she lost her right eye...now i can see many MICHIGAN GAMES in my lifetime plus i have TIVO. I took my mom to the beach with a few of my friends after she had a seizure on thursday night so she could not drive....so i am sorry my mother has cancer and i missed the game and she wanted to go to the beach....i am really sorry i take care of my mother and pay her bills....Kiss my waxed ass Check it out VHL.ORG ....i do not know how long my mother will live...she wanted to go to the beach which makes her happy and she knew what day it was but i am MAN and i do what it takes to make my mom happy...i am sorry i am a shitty son and MAN!~! I have met Ryan and he is a BIG BABY and thinks he is the shit. Ryan talked back to coach Carr and we do not need that. Ryan is full of talent but talks back to his coach and Rich Rod will not have that and is not going to baby him. Ryan leaving is a good/bad thing but we have a QB by the named of Steve Threet and can run and throw and will fit our system. We still have a shot with Terrelle Pryor. Terrelle has said that he wants to come in and play right away and Terrelle was and has been in love with Rich Rods system so that gives us a chance with him. Terrelle is a cousin of current WR Toney Clemons and Toney is trying to get him to come to A2 and Terrelle is also a cousin of Steve Breaston and this just helps us more but we have a qb that can run Richs system. I would have hoped that Mario and Adrian would have stayed but they were thinking about leaving in the middle of the season anyway. Adrian has said that he is going pro but Mario has said that he needs to talk to his family and if he is a first round pick, good luck to him and i wish them both the best. Ryan did not even wanna give it a shot so if he goes to Tenn, UCLA, Ark, or any other school, good luck but he needs to man up and stop being a baby. WE ARE MICHIGAN!!

He still has a official visit left and he needs to know what he wants to major in first. Academics come first and then he will make his decision after he visits Michigan and on February 6, signing day he will let everyone know. Terrelle is the #1 ranked player in the nation and is having his fun with the media and he is a 18 year old kid who everyone is trying to get him to come to their school. Good luck if you get Terrelle but he is playing with the media way too much for me but we have Steve Threet who can run Rich Rod's system. I here that it is O$U and Michigan but it is a win/win for us because we have Steve Threet!!
