never a glove guy, in fact just the opposite, then i hear of this "super bug" infecting healthy people with staph. am i paranoid?

I don't like gloves, I actually like the callouses on my hands ;)
Super staph has been around for years bro you may as well start worrying about every other disease then if you are going to be paranoid.

Yeah I think about germs too...well...aids mainly cuz there are a few flamers at my gym...lol. I don't need to be touching some dried up fags gizz because some "republican" forgot to wipe off in the bathroom.

i Used to wear gloves when i first started out, but now i dont. I feel i can actually grip better without gloves. But if you want to wear gloves, then do it. Don't listen to the fags who say shit like gloves and belts are for pussies ::)

I have nothing against gloves but if you wear gloves on leg day or while training forearms you have some serious issues.

I have nothing against gloves but if you wear gloves on leg day or while training forearms you have some serious issues.
Even better yet, which I recently saw unfortunately, is gloves, knee wraps, pad on bar and tapout shirt to squat 225 for quarter-ish reps.

i find i grip better with gloves than without esp on pulling exercises, however i lost my old pair and haven't replaced them.

Unless you wash your gloves after every single workout you're increasing you risk of getting a staph infection. The best way to reduce the possibility of infection is to wash your hands throughly after your workout and wipe down your equipment with an antibacterial solution prior to and after using it. Also, never workout when you have open cuts on your hands.

Gloves. They cut down on callouses, protect my rings and make lifting more comfortable when I'm using a heavier weight.
I wash my hands after every workout but I know picking up my gloves and carrying them to the car is depositing nasty germs back onto them so I have anti-bacterial gel in my car.

antibacterial gels and sheeeit may actually be the cause of super germs...
I don't wear gloves anymore, I used to but I haven't in years. I've worked out for like 25 years and have never gotten sick from the gym, ok maybe a cold or some crap but if you work out then take a shower you'll be fine.
