i think most of us here love to eat. i know i sure do. but i HATE fat!!! i cant stand fat in any amount anywhere on my body! so obviously..its tough, especially with my metabolism, to stay happy. but i have learned a few ways to keep myself full andrelatively lean at the same time..
-diet soda, diet green tea, flavored waters
-sugar free jello
-broccoli tacos made with raw broccoli, low carb/high fiber tortillas and hot sauce
-salad
-vine sweetened mini bell peppers
-jalapenos(the kind in the jar)
-sugar free fat free jello pudding(because of the carb count in this, this one is only on a rare occasion and i make it with fat free half/half)
what do you guys do to stay full?
-
to stay full, i include some complex carbs in my diet. ;D
-
High fiber carbs.
Sugarless chewing gum, which actually helps suppress hunger and a sweet tooth.
A couple of tsp of physillum husk powder in a glass of Diet V8 fruit juice(5 cals), followed with a glass of water. The fiber swells the stomach giving a feeling of fullness and suppressing hunger and a sweet tooth.

I put bicarbionate of soda and vinegar on all my food and eat my foods with the packaging still on ;D

Holy shit I almost barfed just reading that!!!

I agree completely. I eat less protein & more carbs & fat. I also keep myself hydrated which makes me feel full. I'm also not afraid to cheat a little here & there if I'm really craving something.
My daily diet probably looks like the following:
150 grams of protein
125-150 grams of fat
250 grams of carbs (mostly complex carbs)

interesting...
rimbaud---whats your bf like? (and are you natty or no?)

So you follow a 20% protein, 34% carbs and 46% fat diet? That's a very unique approach! How's it work for you? I'd love to see what a typical day looks like for you, following this scheme.

Bodyfat - maybe 15%
Natty or not? Come on, I mod the Hardcore board. No I'm not natural but I haven't touched a steroid in about six months & no plans for awhile (personal choice).
Actually I started eating less protein about two years ago. Before then I was eating 300grams a day & I felt bloated & sluggishch. Once I cut it in half I felt pretty good. IMO - too many people follow only what they read in books & mags. Not enough people really experiment on themselves to see if a diet or routine really works for them.

Yea, my diets pretty much 20% protein, 40% carbs, & 40% fat (mostly good fats). Seems to work fine for me. I've got plenty of energy & very little stomach discomfort.
Today looks like the following: (every day is a little different but three days a week are very similiar when i work the day shift)
Breakfast:
2 Whole Wheat Enlish Muffins (topped with Coconut Oil)
2 Whole eggs
2 cups of Yogurt
Work: Job is rather fast paced during the day shift so I kind of graze as the day goes on.
2 Cliff Bars
Shredded Wheat (with two cups of Milk)
After-work I'll hit the gym (usually on an empty stomach) & when I'm done maybe a quick prtein shake.
Dinner:
Steak & veggies (tonight)
Before-bed:
A couple Liver tablets, some protein powder &/or a couple eggs if I'm really hungry.
