Very good bodybuilder, but wow, what a tear. Markus Ruhl just cited this as one of the main reasons he retired; the fact that his tear like this has progressively continued to "slip." Tommi Thorvildsen had the same thing going on but it wasn't this significant; he explained to me that he'd been told it was basically inoperable; it's what happens when the tendon remains intact, but the superficial-most fibers start to tear away from it. I doubt docs can fix this one either. Adorthus may still have a chance at turning pro, IMO, but he's gonna have to come in absolutely 100% with this structural flaw. I wish him luck; I know he lives this stuff.

great build on that guy
-
how does he train around something like that?
i would imagine his right side would almost always give out before his left on chest presses. would be interesting to know.
-
You can really see it here.
-
has a great shape to him,
pity about the tear :-\
-
This is why bb's shouldn't train like powerlifters.
-
throws off the whole look on most "most muscular poses",pecs are a must on any good bber, any top pro have good full and shaped pecs, and some bring them up the hard way like chic, david henry, yates didn't have great chest either.

Man there's a way to train around every single thing; you've just gotta think out of the box sometimes. If you tore something, you'd figure out some stuff that you'd never even considered before, trust me.
Overall, a really good structure on this guy, though. Ron was right, and boy did he improve over the last week.
-
I know he did
Sorry I quoted you ,the reply was for Mc Farland :)
-
OH SHIT, I was thinking he got second to Centopani for some reason...my bad! :-[
Well that explains it; I'm impressed by this guy. Great for him, then! ;D

The tear is ruining all of his poses..
Awesome structure though.
-
i take back my words about his tare being too bad,,in the one particular picture i was shown it looked very bad but from the number of other pictures it doesnt look as bad especially when his condition is 100% on
congrats and deserved
-
uhh he won his class and got his pro cardd...with a torn pec. that is savage.
-
I actually think Markus just needed an excuse to get out of the sport, myself, I don't think it was actually career-ending for him.

Yeah my bad, I guess I was assuming he was superheavy because his frame is pretty much filled out, he looks like a pro here. He can still improve some, too, so be looking for him next year.
-
does that gap show more or less when he's not flexing?

Yes, but still pretty much apparent.
-
could pass for arvillas younger brother.
-
More noticeable than Federov. :-\
Pity, that dude has a great physique otherwise.
-
Ouch! What a shame. He looks great otherwise.
-
great build on that guy
Ehhhhhh... :-[
-
The tear f's up every front pose of his.
-
his upper body doesn't look that impressive in those last two pics especially the first on standing relaxed.
-
I actually think Markus just needed an excuse to get out of the sport, not die within a year. myself, I don't think it was actually career-ending for him.
FIXED :-[
-
Somebody needs to be held legally accountable for naming him "Adorthus". Where the fuck do they come up with these names?????
-
Ouch! What a shame. He looks great otherwise.
he does indeed

What good looking guys!!................ ;D

simple pec tear gone untreated. it's nice to see one can go on and win pro with a tear, but the other guys must have looked much worse, as he wasn't in top, top condition for a guy winning his pro card in 2007... coupled with a pec tear, so there's points added to ur symmetry round from the get-go.

just because you can see the tear doesn't mean it's gone untreated... I guarantee he's had surgery and it's reattached.. If you tear the tendon from the bone and don't do any damage to the actual muscle, you wouldn't be able to see it much. If you tear the tendon from the muscle (which is what happened here) then you're fucked and you'll be able to see it no matter how good the doc reattaches it. I know because that happened to me and that's what mine looks like.

seems like u know ur stuff. just saying, ive seen people tear and repair to looking 95% the same as before. so why cant u repair the tendon to the muscle again?
