chris seems like a really humble guy. should probably stick with training the stars for money & health reasons.

he is still competing, he did the alantic city this year and got 5th i think. he wants to come back and do the olympia next year, last i heard he was still training with charles glass getting ready for next year

has he had surgery yet on his tricep? I haven't seen him at the gym since the last shows he competed in.

I got to see Chris in Vegas at the Olympia, still looked jacked. I can't say for sure what he is up to, but he's still a part of the sport. He actually looked really good. I just said hi and gave him hug, no pics on that... sorry guys.

He competed just a few weeks before the Olympia and Tricep didn't look great. Whether or not he is looking to return - I almost hope not as his best days are behind him - Time to look after his health.

Supposedly (I've heard) he injured it rough housing with his son and it's nerve damage. Don't know much about that kind of injury but hopefully he can recover as he looked great in his comeback and by next year he could be a top contender in any show again.

Thanks, Hedge. I just hung up the phizzzone with Cormier and asked him point blank on how he injured it and what it means to his competitive career.
After 4 rings he answered like this he went..."G'ea...who dis? '
I told him it was 'Block'. Thinking he'd hang up he stayed ont he phone, actually. He goes..."Oh, snap...hol' up ni gga, damn...let me turn down my boom box and shit, ni gga...hol' up..."
It sounded faintly like NAS or WuTang. I couldn't make it out with the overbearing sounds of 'lil' showty's' in the backround crying and wailing.
I asked him if it was a bad time to call and he said..."Awww...naaaw, homey. I just be at my play-cousins' crib. His name is Jermaine. He be watchin his showty's cuz his baby mamas' be all up at work and shit so I kick it hurr in the daytime and play PS3 and shit..."
When asked about his tricep he goes..."Maaaan...it aint even that deep and shit. I was playing some XBox at Max Muscle sto' and when some white ass mofos got all up in my grills all like...'It's Cormier...It's Cormier' I be all like..' Break yoself ni ggaz! I be all tryin to get my XBox on and shit...check yoselves and shut up in HURR' "So when they be not wantin to leave I got up to stick my size 12 Air Force One up their white asses and tripped over the wire and wrecked shop on my tricep trying to save myself from bustin my shit and git my WHITE TEE all dirty from the flo'...knawatImsayin? "
I told him how I understood completely. He then proceeded to tell me that he might do another show in the near future maybe the Ironman and if he looks and feels good enought the ASC where he will officially retire to focus on more important things in life like playing PS3, text-messaging new potential 'baby mamas' and hustling his 'baby boo boo's '.
To each their own, I guess.

While Chris has always been symmetrical he has always lacked the back thickness to win against Ronnie or Jay. He seems to have always pulled a Flex Wheeler when it came to back training. I realize he has an injury but that has always hurt him from the rear. Some of the best detail but no depth. It must have hurt him to breath when doing rows over 405 lbs, just like Flex.

i dunno where u got that from, but cormier did a guestpose and interview segment here in aus, and he acted, sounded and looked like a gentleman.
