They sure made goddamned sure it changed everything and not a day goes by that the fuckers don't drill it in. yea, I'd say shit's changed, for the worse and of course active military gets the brunt of the BS and I do feel for you guys. In my book, just about every last thing done after 9/11 were colossal errors with highly questionable motives. We're in a Global War on Terror ::) Like that's winable ::)

I don't really mean that it has changed in the fact that we are a military at war, but we have really changed the way we operate on a day to day basis. Prior to 9/11 it was fairly lax on most installations when all you needed to get on base was a vehicle sticker and the guard would just wave you through. That changed on 9/12 and now I have to have a sticker and ID to get on. Got my windshield replaced the other day so they wouldn't allow me on base because my sticker was gone, even with a active ID card. But in all honesty I don't ever want to go back to 9/10 america.

a global "war on terror" is the equivalent to a global "war on ambush." ::)
Yeah we should just sit back and wait...you a Raven's fan? Maybe a redskins fan? You see what only playing defense will get you right?

To be fair, how old were you on 9/10 America?

The War on Terror is a bumper sticker because Terrorism is a tactic and you can't have a war against a tactic...
