I agree... PBW already does the "serious bodybuilding" show... there really isn't enough of a market for more of that. This show should be about getbig-style entertainment. However, having BCH as a guest bodes well for that (assuming Ed makes her look foolish, and doesn't treat it as an actual serious interview). Ed needs to print out the 60+ page BCH thread and use it as source material. ;D

Thanks for making the first BIG NATION show such a success! We absolutely crushed MD's All Bull Radio for the timeslot, more than tripling their ratings!
Anyway, we have some PHENOMENAL guests lined up for the next two weeks, including some LEGENDARY PROS, the one and only BETHANY HOWLETT, the industry's top GURU, some more GETBIG personalities, and more than a few MD turncoats begging to come on and rat out the Mascara Mafia.
Our next show is Monday night at 7pm and I suspect it will be the GREATEST EPISODE IN BODYBUILDING RADIO HISTORY!!

I am not sure what machine that you are using to handle the conference calls but is there a way to adjust the levels? some people are real loud and others need to be boosted

agreed, most of us will tune in the first few weeks then tune out.I tuned in because I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST GONNA BE GETBIG THE FORUM ON LIVE RADIO,but it was not!
They most likely promoted it as that so we would all listen and they will slowly weed it completely off the show!
The hosts sounded like two college kids doing an on campus show for 10 listeners to be honest!

Thanks Gordo. As you are one of the funniest Getbiggers, I take extra notice of your suggestions. And for the most part, I agree that serious bodybuilding discussion (contest prep, diet, glutes) is probably best left to the other shows, especially with Larry Pepe's PEP TALK coming soon. That being said, when a very popular GETBIG member and Nationals competitor hailed by nearly all Getbiggers as the best conditioned athlete they've ever seen agrees to come on the show, it's something of a disappointment that none of those who hailed his conditioning bothered to call in (well, with the exception of BSB...).
But again, point taken. With more than 48 hours to prepare, I promise all future shows will offer a 100% increase in laughs or we will give you your money back plus an additional 15%.

They need general bodybuilding stuff otherwise the show has no chance of getting any bigger (pun intended). If they keep it focused to the people on the boards, at best they will equal their first show in number of listeners. It won't increase. What they can do is practically make it a parody & a more-real version of PBBW. Get guests, but keep the questioning open (drugs, rumors, trannies, etc.). If you keep it about the bodybuilding world but make it different than the others (basically allow any questions), it will do well.

Agree here giordano, Parody is a lost art form, Saturday Night Live killed it because they sold out to movie stars and corporations. It was at one time one of the most effective political tools. It has a long history of social significance starting with Harvard Lampoon and then the very popular National Lampoon. And of course Monty Python and the early early SNL.
Parody is lost now because people are afraid to really make fun of powerful people because everyone is sold out. But Getbig should not be that way..ever.
I think it would be a perfect tool for Big Nation not only for entertainment but for communicating our point of view and influencing change in the industry, which Getbigers are known for.

i listened to the interview with jason and it was again breaking apart to pieces all other interviews done in main stream industry,,congrats
overall show is still in confused mode and dont sound as professional as should due to eequipment i guess,,its a good step twards what it really takes to get in bodybuilfing with more realitsic approach,, its going to be very hard for you to get sponsors because bodybuilding is sold out over all as lie via supp companies so the more you bring realistic approach to it ...the less chances of you to get sponsored by supp companies..
the supp companies deal is to steal and make as much money out of the 15-35 year old individual,,past 35 no one do bodybuilding any more among general public and no one use the supplements,,so the supp companies must sell a product via radio and mags to as many 15-35 year old as they can because this to begin with is very small market,,and you work against it with such interviwes as you did tonight yet you face many people with what it really take to become bodybuilder
long process but at the end i believe you will dominant bodybuilding radio,,no bodybuilder in their right mind listen to a lying and spinning radio when they have the real thing in your show ,,jut need to bring it up some and getting into it ,,jason should be comended for his first interview because he took HIGH HIGH risk,,

Dont even bother. It sucked so hard its not worth listening to. Ed speaks with a Hulk Hogan sound board for 30 mins and then Interviews Arntz. Very boring.

The first one was good but Special Ed insited on being a moron and interviewing a sound board for half the show and wasted all the time.

dont be so negative,,from what i listened to and it was only jason interview it was superb who ever did the interview block guy or ed did very good job ,,i didnt listen to rest but i will in the afternoon

bodybuilding is not built as a sport,,it is a sport that is built as an indutry because of the heavy heavy enourmous usage of drugs mainly synthetic hormones,,due to this this industry is controlled by very small monopoly that is called joeseph weider,,that is why you see we thank him in every of our sites while in reality some of them are made by smarties like whats his name the 300web site dude 240and back?
now,,if you are not intune with the monopoly of the indutry wether it is king weider or the princes muscletec and the step prince steve,,if you dont will to negotiate and flow with the fish as we say it,,you will be eliminated no matter how good of a bodybuilder or talent you are (See priest)

and that! is why you need to take it easy on this new show and give them time even if it is a year ,,they may very well do a change to bodybuilding as you know it

I found out it was going against MDs show so I hyped it a bit. It was painfully bad though. That Arntz dude was boring as fuck. He said that Matt Duvall didn't return his feelings back to him, which was weird and talked about how he got up at 5 in the morning, trained traps, went to work etc. Like we fkn care. ::) The show has potential, we'll see what happens next week.

i listened to the interview with jason and it was again breaking apart to pieces all other interviews done in main stream industry,,congrats
overall show is still in confused mode and dont sound as professional as should due to eequipment i guess,,its a good step twards what it really takes to get in bodybuilfing with more realitsic approach,, its going to be very hard for you to get sponsors because bodybuilding is sold out over all as lie via supp companies so the more you bring realistic approach to it ...the less chances of you to get sponsored by supp companies..
the supp companies deal is to steal and make as much money out of the 15-35 year old individual,,past 35 no one do bodybuilding any more among general public and no one use the supplements,,so the supp companies must sell a product via radio and mags to as many 15-35 year old as they can because this to begin with is very small market,,and you work against it with such interviwes as you did tonight yet you face many people with what it really take to become bodybuilder
long process but at the end i believe you will dominant bodybuilding radio,,no bodybuilder in their right mind listen to a lying and spinning radio when they have the real thing in your show ,,jut need to bring it up some and getting into it ,,jason should be comended for his first interview because he took HIGH HIGH risk,,
this may very well will be the beggining of the legalization of hormones in the future
