Title: Bodybuilding for Real People and Real Life Results by Dave Picard
Post by: Andy Griffin on November 26, 2007, 04:01:37 PM
Good evening.

I got this article off of getbig.com's "articles" section.  Is anyone familiar with it?  It sounds good to me, but since I am a true newbie I like to get a variety of opinions.

The main principles of this program seem to be performing sets to failure, intensity/form, and rest.

I did sets for quads/hamstrings today.

If it has a newbie training to failure, it's wrong.

Go online, by Rippetoe's 'Starting Strength', 'Practical Programming', and McCallum's 'Keys to Progress'.

Everything you need to know is in those three books.

I will definitely look into those.  Thanks.
