The first appears to be 1970....it is in magazines that I have from that year...although they may have been taken earlier

IMO those were likely taken after his prime, maybe some time in the early-mid 70s. He had more size & cuts in his prime, mid-60s thru early 70s.

All look to be late 60's early seventies...he started to regress after that.
