Title: Is KING done as a pro bodybuilder?
Post by: HowieW on November 27, 2007, 06:42:17 PM
Is KING done or does he has some life left in him as a pro bodybuilder.?
I think he has some life left, but kinda like the way a gasping fish has a few minutes left after you pull it on board.

100% agree, he was pretty good a while ago but there's no way he can do any sort of damage these days... BTW does any one know how he still keeps his muscletech contract, i know he writes for muscle mag, but would they rather spend there money on someone who is going to make people want to buy all the products.. if all the muscletech products make you look like king i would steer clear of them

Did he ever begin?

The man had a good couple of years  as a pro. I actually enjoyed seeing him in contests.

The only thing that keeps his name popping up here is people like Ron who make bizarre predictions of king achieving something.

I never really was a huge fan of making fun of King until he recently converted his arms to run on oil.

The heroes of getbig calling him out resulted in him falling from placing 4 and 5th last year, to 8 and 9th this year!

The industry reads it!

He's done.  I really liked him when he first came on the scene.  He brought some excitement.  He just bulked up too huge in the offseasons and his waist and stomach got out of control.

Exactly, I saw him guest pose the in the summer of 2003 and it was obvious he had allowed hismelf to gain way too much bulk in the off season and it was obviously NOT muscle. He felt he was doing the right theng when I asked him about it at his booth. I was never colose to him as a bodybuilder , but his judgements on his physique were off.
