Title: FOx news airs commercial for "redacted" during THe Factor
Post by: 240 is Back on November 27, 2007, 09:43:59 PM
Bill OReilly is running a campaign to have the movie banned, to stop people from watching this factual war movie.

So FOX news sells ad space for the commercial DURING his show, and they air the commercial during the show.

I wonder what his reaction will be?

He probably has no control over the spots that air on his TV show.  If a commercial is not openly tasteless (hah) as in having four letter words, or openly fraudulent (hah, except questionable patent medicines, commercial network broadcasting's cornerstone, especially radio, is questionable patent medicines), there are few broadcast outlets that won't accept money for commercial time. The station I work for when I first went to work for them in the 1980's advertised a device that "shooed away" pests with ultrasonic sound. It was a totally bogus device. It wasn't until a major university debunked the thing did they stop accepting the ads.
