Tight end would be better. The speed of wr's these days is out of control. Johnson ran a 4.3 at 6'4 235 lbs.

James could  add some weight and play OLB in a 3-4. I would say the line due to his height , but he would be to small to play on the line in a 3/4. At under 300 its tough to shed block's vs huge offensive linemen. R Seymour is 6'6 310 for reference. Adding that much weight would slow James down way to much.

I think if James added 15 lbs he could be a hell of a OLB in the 3/4.

Tight end would be a better fit but it takes more than size and speed. He probably would get abused by d-ends and linebackers. Imagine how terrible his blocking would be.

It's funny how people always thought the same with Shaq as a d-lineman. Could you imagine someone like Larry Allen or Matt light taking him on? They would plant Shaq into the turf like a lawn dart?

shaq was slow and too big, james is fast, and was a football player and he was good at it, earning all state honors.

He would have been a great TE.
