Post by: body88 on November 30, 2007, 08:13:14 AM
To move to 12 and 2 on the year. Sheesh things are just not going good for NY these days.

I can't believe Isiah is still around. No team should let this guy near the bench or front office.

Charles Barkley after the game:

"All those guys (Knicks) are talented...they just have no idea how to play basketball."

I don't know what the knicks financial situation is with the cap and existing contracts, but it looks like their only option is to clean house by mid season and start the rebuilding process by trading for youth NOW !

it's a shame because I loved Isaiah as a player but it's looking like he just can't work with vets, maybe he's more suited to coach in college ?

Good grief.  Talk about a beat down.  I said at the start of the season you could pencil in the Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.   :'(

Looks like Orlando might give them some competition.  Dwight Howard is turning into a monster.

Agreed, Thomas should've been long gone. Knicks management's clearly a joke not to have moved in a new direction before now.

Not only is he poor in management, he's a thoroughly repugnant human being.

They've needed to clean house for years, not just now. They've been going in the wrong direction for years with Thomas around.

Thomas has not proven that he's capable of doing well anywhere, and is one of the biggest aholes in sports not just basketball.

Celtics win again.  Now 14-2.  With this and the Cowboys having the best record in the NFC I might as well move to Canada.   :-\  If not for my UH Warriors I'd be in a major depression right now (Lakers, Niners fan).

I dont think anyone thought they would be as good as they are. Tops in the east no doubt , but they are now legit contenders to win it all.

I thought they would be contenders in the East, but now I tend to agree with you they are threats to win it all.

That said, it is an 82 game season.  Still a lot of ball left to be played.

I know what you are saying. Way to early in the season to pencil them in for anything. So far so good.

Lakers v. Celtics on Sunday.  This one actually means a little something for a change.

Celtics look good but they need a better point guard instead of Rondo. His outside shooting and free throws are pathetic for a guard. Those weaknesses will be exploited come playoff time when defenses start playing a lot tighter. The big three will need help with outside scoring other than James Posey and Rondo isn't that guy.

They should really consider signing Gary Payton. He may be 39 years old but he still can play well in limited action. He can still bring the ball up and not be reckless with it during pressure situations.

So they beat the crap out of my Lakers for the second time, this time in L.A., and now they're an NBA best 28-3.   :-\

This is fun to watch, especially since they aren't cheating.

It's not fun at all.  Not when you're a lifelong Laker fan who grew up hating the Celtics.  Not when you believe there was a conspiracy between McHale, Bird, and Ainge to send KG to Boston instead of LA.

Although I'm starting to think Kupchak finally did something right by keeping Bynum.
