No. It is a stress reliever and I think I might kill someone if I couldn't do it regularly. There are just too many assholes looking for a punch in the face to give it up.

Welcome to the club.I work 50-60 hours per week and go to school 3 days per week. It is hard to stay in shape when you have a schedule like that. Sometimes you must put your priorities in order simply just switch to "maintain " mode rather than Body building mode...just try and stay in shape and focus less on bodybuilding per se. Unless you are a future pro bb this is just a Hobie or a way to feel better about yourself..it isn't your whole life.

I gave up aspirations of competitive bb years ago when it dawned on me that I had no interest in weighing 300 lbs.  I will never, ever quit training though.  That's just plain silly.

LOL..almost lost my eggs! Bodybuilding is a lifestyle that I never intend to give up. For me, it's a time to reflect on myself through ongoing challenges and striving for personal goals. I "find" myself each time I challenge myself in a physical manner. It is about looking in the mirror and liking what I see..to be happy with the person i am and am striving to become. It's no wonder that when people are forced to spend time with themselves that they turn to some form of exercise..like prisoners who lift weights and do push ups in their cell..it's a time of personal reflection and taking time for themselves for a change..too many folks would rather direct ALL of their attention to others in order to not look strongly at themselves in the mirror..like soccer moms who put on ten lbs. of fat every year and then have a midlife crisis and are depressed..no way will I ever stray from the iron...that's how I stay in tune with myself..keep the $$$$$

You're focused.  I like that.

Remember, you can always get a real job and a real house and a real car.  You'll probably live to be 70 or 80.  But your window for bodybuilding success is only for another 18 to 22 years.  So do everything you can to get your Pro card now.

Let the haters in their homes laugh now.  When you have the perks of being a pro - a $13k contract with BSN and a really nice room at an older friends' house - they won't be laughing then.

I would alter your bodybuilding goals into what can be done in the timeframe you have.
I would skip the computer surfing, and try to time manage your gym time for the greatest effect.
Let Freakfestmd lead you. He does very well with the short time he has for it.

How ever, this is pot and kettle talk, I am a terrible time waster myself.
I have noticed that weight trainers that make good use of their time tend to be successful monetarily.

You are talking like someone that will never find peace of mind.
Poor people in India, china, Africa talk like that.
I want to be rich!! Make business deals!!!! Work work make money!!!

A big percentage of the population have
enough money to create a happy life, they just don't know how to do it.

The biggest obstacle is their own brain.

More money and no training would just make my life worse.
The only thing I don't want to waste is my time.
Freedom to be able to choose where you want to
live and train.
Life is short very short.

I  don't need more money I actually sold my company so I can spend the rest of
my life being with my girl, train, travel and enjoy life.

If I kept it I would make more money but I would have to spend time working
and being stuck in one country.

Tease me with something more important and valuable than money and I might reconsider.
