I'm in the process of trying to keep some mild nipple sensitivity under control. How much do AIs, and the corresponding reduction of estrogen, hinder muscle growth? They certainly take the water off, which in of itself plays with your head.

What are you thinking of using?
Some here say they can hamper gains running anti-estrogens while on, some swear to use them while on with no effect. Again, comes down to what works for you bro.
I swear by Letro taking care of mild gyno, up to 2.5 mg ed but you might be able to use less if it is mild. Some guys run Adex, .5-1 mg eod.
-
.5 of adex EOD seems to be taking care of it. I just hope it does not hinder my gains too much.

It will not

my personal experience : when I was on and started taking letro at 1.25mg/day, my gains stopped completely, and libido got destroyed

Could you use nolvadex to take care of gyno mid cycle?

YES. If that what you have. Its all we had for long time.
Dont be afraid of 60mg for a day then 40,,20 if it Hurts! Stops it cold in its tracks.

Nolva and clomid will quickly stop the aromatazation, however they don't do anything to the active estrogens that have allready been aromatized, so an AI is needed to bind those. A combination of AEs and AIs is the best to get rid of gyno quick, then you can use just one or the other for preventive maintenance.

Thanks. I just went and got both glands cut out yesterday afternoon. I think that solves the issue. I could not believe how much gyno there was. Good riddance, but now I am sore as shit.
However, I have some AEs and AIs on hand in case something comes up in the future.
Once you have them cut out do you even need to take AIs anymore? Or maybe just a small dose to help with water retention?
Thanks for all of the help guys.

Once the gland is removed it is impossible to get gyno again, but having stuff on hand isn't a bad idea.

Don't know about the cost. Insurance covered it. I have to go back this afternoon for a checkup so I'll ask for the price and let you guys know.
It was an easy surgery. The whole thing took about an hour. I'd say around 10 minutes to numb each area and then 20 minutes per side. He just numbed each area up with multiple shots (insulin needle at first then larger guage for the deeper area) and then cut half way around each nipple. Then it's just a matter of cutting out the gland piece by piece. Apparently it's attached to the surrounding tissue so it does not just come right out in one piece. I could not believe how much he took out.
He did agree that once the gland is gone it won't come back. He also said that gyno is very common; he does it all the time. He said that many things can cause it, including smoking weed. According to him, most men over 40 develop it to one degree or another (he probably includes fat accumulation as gyno in that stat).
I did not need any pain meds, but he prescribed Vicodin in case. It does not hurt very much - just sore like a muscle after your first workout ever.
I gotta tell you it's an awesome feeling to have it out of my body after all of these years. Once you have it, it just gets progressively worse.
He said that I can start working out again in a few days.

thanks for the info abc123. you must have good insurrance, most wouldnt cover something like that because it falls under the 'cosmetic' category. i wouldnt mind getting mine taken out, just so there wouldnt be any worries. Did the doc say how it will scar?
-
It shouldn't be noticable at all he said.
-
The cost was about $1,500. If you want to be put under (pussy) then add around $1000.
-
Also, if the doc sends the "growth" off for a cancer biopsy why wouldn' the surgery be covered? If a woman found a lump it would be taken out immediately for fear of cancer. Why are guys different?

Ahhh, that must me the trick, to test for cancer. That way, becomes a legit medical reason and not cosmetic.
Thanks for the info man! 8)

Wait, you did not pay the whole $1,500, just a co-pay for your insurance, right?

that is genius, i may try that shit out. claim some abnormal 'growth'

If they sent if for testing theres your reason. If it didnt need testing, why send it? ;)

I only paid the co-pay, not the whole $1,500. Also, you can say that you have had the "growth" since puberty, but one side has gotten worse recently for some reason. ;) That makes it sound suspiciously dangerous.

I'm healing well, but my nips are still real sensitive. It's kind of playing with my mind. Since the incisions are around the nips I can't tell whether that is why it is hurting....or are they sensitive because of my cycle and high estrogen levels?...I wouldn't think I would feel anything anymore since the glands are gone, but who knows. Maybe they still get sensitive, but nothing grows?

I thought you could develop GYNO again even after surgery ... since they are not removing the gland that creates it to begin with but rather just the accumulation it self...
i thought i read something like this around here somewhere....
I might be wrong thou :-\
