Since Hedgehog fucked up by moving the old thread to the dump (boy, is he in DESPERATE need of a vacation...) here's a new one!
Anyone else training twice a day? Or have in the past, what do you think of it?

With the same logic, everything sold on TV Shops works because they can show off people in great shape on the show? ::)
Please refer from making dumb ass posts like that in the future. I'm trying to have a serious discussion about training, something you obviously have no interest in.

No. I've done it off & on. I used to go hit the weights in the morning before work & then take my wife to the gym after work. Didn't work out so well because I found myself training with the weights at both times. I found it just kicked my ass too much. I've tried it both on gear & off & it was still too much for me to handle. It was also a struggle sleeping & eating enough.

There is no reason to train twice per day unless you are a pro, you can make all the gains by training once per day 4 to 5 days per week

I disagree, since you arn't a pro you need to train even more/harder/smarter.

i could see training in the morning and coming back at night for calves or abs
but once a day is all i can handle

Yeh, I do one bodypart early, then one bodypart in the evening. Works a treat and keeps my training sesh to 40mins a time + keeps the blood in the muscle.
