He was obviously about to turn over, grab the big black cops gun after knocking him out & shoot her.
It's just the USAs Pre-emptive strike policy in force isn't it ? I guess she's a republican.

YOU ARE RIGHT!! what was I thinking? The brave officer was OBVIOUSLY in jeopardy!!
all jokes aside that would definately suck...hahahaha of coarse it was accidental and shit happens but still... ;D
-
What an idiot. What I find funny is that she has those dark glasses tough girl cop look and she cant even handle a gun properly. I saw that kind woman in the military.
-
amazing.....
never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to fire....
that dude is one lucky mother fucker!!! she almost shot his mullet off!

that guy lived thru it???

I hope that cnt gets fired. No reason for something like that to happen. Like Wes said, basic fireamrs safety...if you put your finger on the trigger you better mean to squeeze it. Otherwise leave it off.

Agreed. There also didn't seem much of a reason for her to draw her weapon in the first place. He was clearly incapacitated by the other officer. If anything she could have helped physically control him by assisting the officer in restraining the perp but she wanted to be a tough guy and draw her gun.

hahahaha so the bitch pig not only couldn't control her trigger finger, but she couldn't aim either.
classic!

LOL...three feet away and she still missed.
must have been the "cartman" glasses blocking her view of his head.
"respect my authoritaaaaaay"

How much you want to bet her partner showed her the proper use of a 'gun' in her ass later on in a patrol car somewhere....
-
i believe she got fired for this. she shouldn't have even had her finger in the trigger guard. he finger is suppose to be along the rail of the gun until you are ready to shot. thats how they are taught..apparently she didn't listen that day
-
Ouch. :-\
hahahaha whenever i was in the police academy they showed us that video,it is still funny no matter how many times i see it.the guy wasnt shot by the way.

I think he meant to say revolvers. Glock is a great reliable weapon. Personally, I prefer the H&K USP.

Both guns are highly durable weapons. I like them both. My brother is a cop and he has an assortment of glocks and I always enjoy shooting them.

what i carry to work is a h&k usp 45 socom, but i have many glocks and love both brands.even though my h&k is far superior.

since when have i ever defended an idiot cop? i hate most of them. most of them give me a bad name.
i have however defended cops that arnt given a fair chance before they are accused. for instance, when someone shows a 10 second clip of a video of someone being tazed.. you dont know what happend before hand, but everyone jumps to conclusions.
when you show me a video like this, i can't defend them, nor would i want to. not this other bullshit

glocks have a trigger safety, some people have bad habits.

you are a goddamn fool if you think any police officer uses the safety on his/her weapon.

You sure you want to make that generalization?
As far as Texan and all the others, I'm not defending this officer, but in terms of Glock you have arguably the best pistol out there and if you can't practice trigger safety with a Beretta (standard issue in many depts), which has a safety, then you shouldn't carry a gun. Unless you plan to shoot something your finger should be off the trigger.

this is true. My brother has mentioned that when hes on duty he rarely if ever has the safety on. Your suppose to keep your finger extended along side the gun (if I am explaining that correctly). I had a side arm in the military and I was trained not to keep my fingers on the trigger because I might accidentally discharge the weapon .

Safeties are a dead man's tool.
I carry glocks exclusively and I'm just some fat schmuck. I'd never use a safety weapon - might as well carry unchambered.

I bet you don't keep your finger on the trigger at all times tho? I have a S&W M&P for self defense. Trigger "safety" and all. I don't CC tho. My point was that some cops don't follow any common sense when handling firearms.

Steele: I'm talking about your weapon, soldier. Now Delta or no-Delta, that's still a hot weapon. Your safety should be on at all times.
"Hoot": This is my safety, sir.
[He holds up his index finger and bends motions as if squeezing a trigger and then walks off]

You mean coworkers? That must suck. I work with people on the other side business deals I don't trust. Dealing with a snake right now. But I trust all the people I work with.

If you saw the quality of LEO nowadays you would understand why bad things happen. If you plan to shoot something your finger goes on the trigger but I know trained professionals who have mentioned accidental and negligent discharges. It happens.

;D I was just messing around putting your name in the title. I didn't think you would actually defend it...besides it was an accident anyway.
P.S. If I were a Cop I would taze people just for looking at me crosseyed..lol ;D jk

I sure wouldn't. I'm Not a Cop and never will be ... but having a safety on sounds like an excellent way to get dead.

dont ever put your finger on that trigger.. i dont give a fuck what anyone tells you to do.. your nervous, your excited, your scared.. too many bad things can happen.. let the bad guy shoot at you first. most of them can't shoot strait to begin with, you got a vest on anyways.. once he fires the bullet, or points a gun at you. your in the clear. then its time to unload..
this woman had he finger on the trigger.. stupid. i hope she lost her job. her gun shouldnt have been out. if he was resisting the cuffs, stick a taze in him. the best cop i ever worked with, who i learned the most from, only took his gun out of his holster once in his 30 year career. only because he was getting shot at, but he never fired. a good cop can do that. a bad one has no confidence, they always feel threatend. they always have fear -thats when you fuck up.
-

that sounds like a really bad situation there... :-\ I know I bash cops all the time on here, but the reality is you guys do have a dangerous job and I don't see how you could/ would do it without trust in each other.

hundreds. the dumbest one i remember is pulling over a guy who we just saw make a buy. then he claims he found it and he was going to the police station to give it to us.
best times we ever had was when we were real bored and we did the ''meow' to people like in super troopers

One of the best I have seen on COPS was, This guy was rolling a hot water heater down the street on a dolly, at night, with hot water dripping out of it, he had a back back on that was full of burglary type tools( hack saw, bolt cutters etc.) he told the COPS that he found the water heater in a vacant lot that someone dumped it. The cops followed the trail of water around the corner to a office building that had been broken into and the trail stopped right at the copper pipes that had been cut in two right where a hot water heater had been. ;D
-
I love the one where some lady had some crack in her car and she told the cops some guy threw it in her car when she was asking him for directions..
