Title: Huckabee didn't know anything about the NIE report, 31 hours later
Post by: 240 is Back on December 05, 2007, 05:21:40 PM
He wants to lead the free world.

When asked this AM about the new report, he had no clue.
31 hours after the big breaking news conference.

Is this likely?  No.  It's likely he didn't want to comment and hurt Bush, or his own chances with the Bush base.   That means it's likely that the Baptist minister lied to us.

Either he's lying, or he goes 31 hours without noticing the biggest news story of the month involving our current president, our biggest world threat, etc.

Did no one on his staff read the paper?  Does he not look at any morning papers?

I find it odd that he appeared to know NOTHING about this even a day after it happened.  You would think if he isn't briefed on this stuff that at least it would have come up in coversation among his staff or the people around him.    I mean if we're talking about it on Get Big you'd think the topic might bubble up among the people surrounding a presidential candidate

His attempt at damage control didn't do much good and he might have just dug the hole even deeper

huck lied.  plain and simple.  or, he's completely unaware of the biggest story of the year about our biggest enemy, 2 days after it breaks.
