Title: Roids for bones?
Post by: EL Mariachi on December 06, 2007, 07:09:20 AM
I remember 5 years ago i read something, about some teen girls using anabolics to widen their bones, like legs and arms. You heard anything similar like this?

when i say anabolics, i mean all sorts so also GH. So gh can make permanent bigger bones in the legs?

No, the docs give GH to kids with DWARFISM. Kids that are way under the average height for their age.

Not a bone specific procedure so if you want you legs longer, try hanging upside down for a while.. :D

Or if you really want longer legs there is a procedure.  They essentially break the leg into 6 pieces and insert screws into the breaks.  These screws turn clamps that when adjusted break the bone apart again.  So they'll turn the screws, break the bone and let it re-heal over a period of time.  They do this 8-10 times and it's some of the most excruciating pain you'll ever experience.

Or take some GH, but the problem with that is it's non-selective in where it attaches to so you could end up with a huge simian forehead.

No I wasn't joking about that procedure.  They do it for dwarfs who want to be taller.  Sadly, some go through it just to gain 3" to their height.

Ever try squatting? With weights, not just on the toilet.

If you want "wider" looking legs, narrow stance ass to the grass squats will hit the outer quads nicely and give you a wide/thick look.

I seem to recall reading something about the use of anabolics for osteopenia and osteoporosis.

WTF? Wider legs? Wider bones in the legs?

This is one of the strangest "steroid questions" I've ever heard.
