Titusisback made two pretty extraordinary claims in the "495 incline press" thread--a) that he does 140 lbs x 6 for dumbell press, and b) 60 lb delt lateral raises.
Post pics or you're just another internet nerd claiming to have incredible strength.
Either of your physique which should resemble someone who can lift those weights, or pics of you lifting.
-
Those claims don't really seem all that crazy. You would have to be a strong guy obviously, but i can imagine a few people here are capable of those lifts.

I didnt say those lifts are unbelievable, but since they are a lot heavier than the average getbigger lifts, I would like to see pics...besides I was curteous enough to show Titusisback certain pics from Nasser's training videos.
And what exactly do you mean by manning the fuck up? What challenge have I backed down from?

I agree, however I don't believe Titusisback is one of those few people :D

"Titusisback"?
The irony!

"Titus walks"
I can see the headlines already.

I can see the headlines already.
The only place he'll walk is the yard, 30mins at a time and finally the electric chair. 8)

bump - looks like he's backing out....why am I not surprised lol

That's true, you did show him those pics...

I've already posted my photos. If you still don't believe I can lift those weights, you're just used to low strength standards set by nasser himself.
By the way.. I said those were my all time best lifts. My strength is probably 10-15% down from the day when I used to compete.
-
BTW, it's prerty ironic I'm supposed to go through the trouble of making videos of my lifts when there's NO VIDEOS OF NASSER lifting shit! HAHA! Nice try trying to divert attention elsewhere! ;D
Wow... 15 x 225 lb bench. Nasser's the man!! ;D

Jihad!!!!

did you claim a 140lb. db SHOULDER press or INCLINE press?

Incline

Incline
i can believe that on a low incline for a competitive bb'er but hell no on the shoulder press, 140 pound bells on shoulder presses is world class.

Correct. Never gone heavier than 110 lbs.

those are def. believeable weights for a guy with your muscle and build, good job.

Where have I asked for any videos? Just simple pics - I take it reading comprehension was not your major. If you said they are already posted why dont you link them or post them here. If you post pics and you do really look like someone who can lift those weights I'll admit it - I'm not going to be like you and try to think of every possible excuse to discredit your claims as you did with Nasser's pics lol.
-
Jihad!!!!
hahaha, even though you probably think that's some type of insult towards me (not sure why you do), I actually find that funny.

If I was to post something, I'd post videos. Pictures mean shit in my books. You're obviously impressed by screenshots as you're obsessed posting them as "proof". I've said before I'm a former competitive bodybuilder, plus my current gym doesn't have anything heavier than 100 lbs anyways.

So you used to press 140's for 6 and now you go to a gym where the max dumbells are 100's ::) I also made it even easier by saying you dont have to post pics of your lifts, just of your physique.
I believe you're a former competitive bodybuilder, however again without seeing your pics that means schitt. I've seen people compete who barely bench 225 for a single.
-

It you who made a connection between the picture and you, not me. ;D

60lb side laterals are a piece of piss - I do them on a virtual daily basis. There's nothing special about that.
Cue Squadfather with my pic in three...two...one....

HAHA! So, you're saying you can be a competitive bodybuilder and be weak. You mean like.... NASSER?!?!? ;D ;D ;D ;D

actually i agree with you here, 60 pound bells isn't that much even on lateral raises but 140 pound db shoulder presses is HEAVY AS SHIT, plain and simple.

I'm sure you can move 60's somewhat, however actual lateral raises to your shoulder level I would imagine about 40 lbs a piece from your pic...MAYBE 45.
-

Depends how you do them...I think if you're doing laterals with good form then it's pretty darn hard to 50% of the weight you would bench. 60 lb dumbells = 43% of 140 lbs, which is pretty equivalent I think in terms of comparing one's lateral raise to dumbell press ratio.
-

BLOODY HELL!!! ::)
Squadfather agrees with me! Squaddy, you have just gone up a notch on my respectometer. 8)
Seriously though, 140lb shoulder presses are very good if true. Even doing inclines with that weight is decent and if someone is making that claim I would expect at least picture to go alongside it.
-

Again, nasser has twisted your vision of what is "strong". As others say, 60 lb laterals are FAR from being strong. Yet you find it impossible to believe. Jeez.. get off that nasser crack and smell the coffee already!
Do you realize there are powerlifters that bench 1000+ lbs when your homeboy nasser is repping with 225 lbs?

Wow I'm sure some skinny guy that claims to shoulder press 315 behind the neck just made a guy like Sf's day cause you respect him ::)
wasn't it like 5 post ago where you claimed you would make SF your bitch in the gym.

Who cares what powerlifters lift? Nasser would destroy any of them in a posedown! That's like saying Mike Tyson is a better boxer than Hulk Hogan lol.
60 lb dumbell laterals with good form is strong, I've seen very big guys pick up 70 or 75 and just lug them around...have hardly seen anyone do proper 60 lb laterals
-

quoted for truth
-
i disagree with titus in that Nasser could do far more than 225 for 15 on the bench at his strongest, i would say his strength was probably right in the middle of the road for an IFBB pro, not exactly Ronnie Coleman or Bertil Fox but not on the weak side either.

So titusisback was mediocre in his dumbell laterals but strong as hell in his dumbell press? ::)
-

yeah i'm assuming there was a bit of a swing on those.

dude... I said I'm using 60s for laterals these days. Back in the day, I was stronger. Again, my BEST set of inclines was done with 140, but I don't move that kind of weight anymore. Comprende? Here's a pic again in case you didn't see it.

Looking good. I would guess from that pic that you could bench 120-130 for reps in those days.

Haha, "very funny". If that's what you think, in that case based on your photos I'd guess your bench max is around 80-90 lbs ::)
-
It's funny how guys like titus and Big j always "use" to lift that kind of weight ::)
WTf are you guys retired now or something?
-
So what are 135 lb dumbbell presses for say a triple, world class as well?
-

lol, you dont know how to take a compliment do you? I wasn't trying to be "funny." There isnt much difference between "120-130 for reps" and "140 for 6 as at very best," so we came pretty close to agreeing, yet you're still melting down lol. Coming to an agreement is just not in some people's vocabulary I guess.
-

As said, my weights are downmaybe 15%. Yeah, I train just for fun now, don't compete anymore. Is there something wrong about that? ???
-

What I also find funny is how Titusisback discredits what Nasser "used to lift" as well and only focuses on the fact that he isnt as strong today, meanwhile quoting his own "what I used to lift" compared to today's "my gym only goes up to 100s"
-

Sorry, my bad. I thought you meant 120 lb in regular bench press. :D
-

lol, no I meant 120-130's for dumbell press
-
lol, no I meant 120-130's for dumbell press
When I was ripped, I couldn't do even that. 140 lbs was offseason best with 40 lbs higher bodyweight. I remember doing regular bench presses two weeks out and 260 lbs was heavy as fuck, when normally I'd rep with 315 or so.

I can believe that after seeing the pic.
And I'm sure you can also now appreciate that Nasser's pre-contest lifts aren't representative of what he lifted in the offseason, and that his lifts during retirement or semi-retirement (I consider 2003-2004 as semi-retirement) were not as heavy as during his stronger years (95 to 2002).
-
off topic slightly but the other night at my gym was this older guy who thought he was the strongest mo fo around. He 'did' 100lbs lateral raises but i wouldn't call them lateral raises he'd start from the floor and swing it as high as possible, all momentum then it would swing back down and hit the ground. such a tool.
-
i dont know about you guys but im gonna watch nasser on the way part iii later tonight as its nasser night friday night special !!!
