I'm a big believer in them, especially when I'm in more intense training periods 30+ a night.

Glutamine is complete garbage for bodybuilding it does nothing for you except help with digestive problems.

http://www.davedraper.com/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/4594/  is a nice article about them.

I personally use Beverly Ultra 40's and love them, one of the few supplements I use.

There are plenty of "ARTICLES" claiming that  Muscletech  stuff works too...doesn't mean it does.

And thus the endless cycle of what to and what not to believe in the supplement industry.  I just stick with what works for me and glutamine never did squat and after reading many new studies on it that say it's useless for resistance trained athletes I'll never buy it.  That's just my opinion though, to each his own.

The article in my previous post was more of a link to inform others as to exactly what was being discussed, not really a nod as to if you should use them or not.  (just so that's clear)

Glutamine isn't a bad supplement.  I just think people have misinformed, unrealistic expectations.

I think He does. He also probably thinks Mike Matarazzo built his physique with MEGAMASS 4000 cause he used to say so in the ads...just like LEE Priest used hydroxycut to get in shape a few years ago. He is entitled to his opinion I guess.

Oh god, whatever.  The article has nothing to do with what I believe, as I said earlier it was to inform other people what we were talking about, nothing more, nothing less.

If you think you have to insult someone in order to discredit their opinion then you've just shown how biased you are.

Cheers.

Also if you want to discuss why I think Glutamine supplementation is completely useless to bodybuilding I'll be happy to do that in another thread.

Is there a particular brand you favor?
I’ve only ever seen lever tabs once or twice and they look the size of horse pills.
Are there any you know of that are a more manageable size?

Check the total mgs. and compare to Beverly's Ultra 40, those are the best and most trusted. Not many liver tab products out anymore but Beverly has been making those damn horse pills since the '70's at least and all their products are high quality.

gtbro- did you get burned by a bag of Mega Mass once? Did not gain 20 lbs in three days as expected???

I have used great supplements over the years and I have used crap. Everyone is different with their likes and dislikes and what works, what doesn't with regards to supplements but all our goals are the same => to excell beyond our genetic capability. If a supplement gets you to that goal faster and even if it is in your head, then go for it!
