Title: So who else is doing non whey protein powders these days?
Post by: GroinkTropin on December 14, 2007, 06:14:43 PM
Since whey makes me retain a lot of water, I've been picking up different proteins for myself and customers etc. We have soy and recently added the phenylated buckwheat (procore, awesome shit) and just today I picked up "Nitro Fusion" by manno's. It is pea brown rice and artichoke hearts. I kept a tropical for myself, just drank a shake it's....interesting tasting. Not bad, very chalky and not very "tropical" but it's alright with little to no aftertaste. The amino acid profie is pretty decent.

I HATE whey protein powders.

A blended protein (more than 2-3 different kinds) is far superior, for an all around powder.

I don't even like having whey right after working out.

Jay Robb makes some very clean proteins as well and they have a great tasting EGG protein.

I am basic, a blended protein as the base of my MRP's and before bed (Max Hi 5) and whey post workout (any Isolate the is the cheapest at the time)

Procor from Kemistry is good stuff and everyone that uses it, loves it!! I have yet to get some...

a quality whey concentrate or whey micro-filtered isolate are the best things you can have post workout when trying to put on mass. no other protein source comes close.

Oh no, please don't ask...things were so nice and quiet around here.

You realize you are asking for a response that will make no sense and probably a cut and paste job at best.

I want him to continuously prove how much of an idiot he is.
Sure, he did a great job losing all the weight (coke induced or not!), but other than that, he's the current resident retard. ;D

I feel a Milk & Egg protein powder is far superior to Whey alone for Growth.

I would buy Nitrean if it was sold here.

It has egg albumen in it.

Right now, I have a good casein/whey blend.

I'd like to see a egg/micellar casein/whey/soy blend.

I've been looking for non whey proteins as well lately. Lately I've been trying trueprotein's Gemma Protein. Pretty good stuff (so far....).
