A bunch of us from getbig met for lunch in St. Louis. Squadfather, me and some other guys (that I didn't know who they were) and then my mom joined us later ??? Anyway Squad (who was a big guy with a beard and mustache) was having some raviolis w/kind of an orange sauce. One of the guys told me I had too much make-up on and I told him he should shave his unibrow (not something I think I'd say to someone I'd consider a stranger irl). It turns out the reason Squad has so much freedom to post on here is that he makes a good living working for the band Iron Maiden and only has to work sporadically.

I read part of the Getbig lunch at the Firehouse thread yesterday Oh yeah and I ate hot peppers about an hour before bed

STella, you have the most creative dreams! :D I bet you could solve complicated equations in your sleep.
This one's probably random neuron firings, as Samourai Pizzacat said once... brought on by late Getbig reading, and hot pepper eating. Maybe some thread with discord on it stuck in your brain before you slept. Either that, or maybe you sublimated some real life anxiety, Christmas social obligations or something, and dreamed it as Getbig instead. I doubt it though, and eating with others usually means you're feeling happy and joyful. Maybe you have joyful feelings about Squadfather!!! :D

Last time I ate stuffed pasta parcels with orange sauce, I had this strange dream about all my favourite women on Getbig. Deedee and Judi were hanging out in Hazelton Lanes in Toronto and I arrived and immediately found them (& I've not been there for 15 years).
Then STella showed up and we had a glass of wine and lots of laughs.
After that it got extremely weird because everyone took on these horrid computer names which meant nothing and I didn't know anyone after that. I woke up about ready to kill my nextdoor neighbour.
All of the above is true except for what I had on my ravioli, it was pesto and parmigiano and fresh ground pepper.

DeeDee, Hazelton Lanes (http://www.hazeltonlanes.com) are a series of quiet little upscale boutiques in Yorkville supplying the best of everything. They started out as individual shops, galleries, etc, ...then some brilliant developer came up with a mall to house them all in. They still have the individual shops along Hazelton Ave off Yorkville, but they are quiet & discreet compared to the attention whores on Bloor. And you don't have to wait 8-10 months for something to arrive. Some of these boutiques have stayed in business for 20+ yrs with only a handful of Rosedale & Bridle Path customers.
ps: a pack of chiclets will run you $45.

Well, I've been to Yorkville, so I must have been there. And with all the Christmas shopping and sweating it out at the schmall, makes me wish I was a Rosedale lady these past couple of days, with a car and driver waiting to schlep me wherever I need to go. :P

You don't need to be in Rosedale to have a car & a driver take you where you need to be.
Besides, with all the one way streets in Yorkville getting through Hazelton lanes would be a nightmare.
One rule though, ...never schlep. Always get there in style. Use a pedicab or a big old Egyptian divan thingy ;)
ps: How did you make out in the snowstorm. Once it passed up, I heard it headed your way.
