Do any of you know any Chicagoland gyms dedicated to powerlifting or strongman training?
Also who are the most respected local powerlifters and strongman...
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lance's Gym. 3610 S Iron st. Literally 1 mile WEST from 'Comiskey Park'. Very near PUMPS MUSCLE STATION-GYM. Owned/operated by powerlifter Lance Karabel. You've been there before...remember?

No idea man...Ive been to chicago once and it was about 6 years ago to go to some club...white star or some shit like that...cant remember.

I used to lift with a Former WORLD CHAMPION POWERLIFTER from the Chicagoland Area, Bob Pleticha, I think thats how you spell his last name. This was back in the late 80s when he won.
