the 2008 Metrolina is scheduled for May 10 2008. The big question is:Will Vince Goodrum hit the posing platform and wow the crowd with his new ALRI enhanced physique?
Will Goodrum take up my challenge of an impromtu get big posedown at the event?
Time will tell? Howard

Vince will never step on a bodybuilding stage again.
He'll do the stupid table posedowns for a free tubs of ALRI's garbage.
But we all know he's 30+ and fat now, and for most, there is no coming back from that. Least of all for a lazy, delusional weirdo like Vince.

I thank ALRI for the products and for the great results I've gotten from them but I will be representing another supplement company at that time.
Currently, I've been pretty busy completing all of the remaining ISSA certification courses, selling medical equipment for a company and conducting business seminars for Pre-Paid Legal Services however I'm still pounding out the weight in the gym and will be at the Arnold Classic as well as competing at the Metrolina.
If you wish to have an impromptu posedown, just show up at the Arnold and you'll get one.

hahaha vince is giving seminars in gyms. classic.

That says it all right there.

selling medical equipment for a company
Medical equipment/device sales? Relly? For whom?
I wasn't aware the you had any medical/pharmaceutical background. Typically, device sales positions go to professioanls already in the field.
So, which company is it?

I worked for GHS as a Billing Code Specialist when I first moved to Greenville, SC however it really didn't factor in. The pharmacutical sales jobs are hard to get but I applied at the right place at the right time. I would love to give the name of the company but I don't want any Getbig idiots calling in like they tried to at Alltel to cause any trouble.
The reason for this is because the nutritional supplement side of my business has gotten pretty bad. Its December and I have not even sold $100.00 dollars in supplements and last month and last month's total was about 250 bucks .... :o The problem I've had is that Genesis Nutrition was sold and moved to Florida and has raised my distributor prices to the point where its not even worth selling them anymore. In addition, I'm getting my ass stomped by BB.com online and Wal-Mart outside. Its a shit sandwich and I'm not going to have to take a meaty bite.
To sum it up, in the deep red for supplement sales this year.
I intend to liquidate and discontinue the sale of general vitamins and supplements as I have to now admit defeat and move to greener pastures. As Kenny Rogers once said, "You gotta know when to hold and when to fold" ;D

He used to sell coffee at the flea market, so maybe he knows a thing or two about caffeine.

No, only yourself.
It's like challenging a 3rd-grader to a game of basketball.

Good one.

You are too funny.
Please post some of the comments from your high school yearbook.

True but you fail to see i am in it for the fun of it either way. I would never want to do it to try and go anywhere the sport itself is for shit. It's out to kill and bankrupt the athletes...

Nice to hear that my pal, Melvin, is doing well. It wasn't that long ago he needed coupons and give-aways to eat at the Olympia. A pity about the supplement business. He needs a manager who can capitalize on his fame and sell products that people want. Melvin is on a roll and nobody can stop him now.
I wonder if he will add his ISSA diplomma credentials after his CSN MFT when he completes that course? I was invited to be an instructor in ISSA but turned it down when I saw the others in that organization. Good luck to Melvin as the ISSA course is a step in the right direction. One day he might finally go back to university and study exercise science.

Vince, you are aware that "Pre-paid legal services" is Multi Level Marketing, do you not?
-
vince is going out of business, then?
and he's working days as a telemarketer?
and weekeend's he's selling a marketing scheme then?
He used to brag about how getbig was 'making him famous' and so 'good for business'.
yet time proves otherwise.... 7 years later, he's still doing entry level shit and isn't successful at anything. He can talk himself up all year, but results talk... and vince has none :-X
-
So Vince are you going to show up with Munzer like conditioning again or are you going to play the size game? What's your training look like now?
-
Melvin has a knack of showing up in amazing condition no matter what the contest or posedown.

Vince is only guilty of getting caught up in the cottage industry of various bodybuilding products , thinking it could be a career. As he already pointed out, he did lousy this past yr, thus, I see no reason to blast him any longer.
I am glad Vince is more worried about getting his finances in order than the bodybuilding stage.
We all have to eat and pay the bills.

But Howie, Vince thinks the growth of bodybuilding.com's cyberstore is the reason his vitamin sales are so poor this year.

Good luck getting something started for you in terms of a stable career. Why not go back to school to obatin a degree and/or certification ins omething that would be longer lasting with bennefits. I teach HS science (chemistry and physics) and find it very stable as a career. It is not that difficult to a basic BS/BA in some field of Ed to be certified to teach. Trying for a CPA is another path, that is more difficult but hardly impossible to do, etc.
I was self employed as a certified trainer back in the mid 1980's and also worked as a gym manager. It was ok, and it all was new back then, so one could eke out a decent living with a lot less competition than today.
Maybe, getting massage therapy certified with the personal training could be ideal, who knows?
I use a licensed M.T. once per month for deep tissue massage and he does ok in our town.
I may compete in the Metrolina next May, so if I do, I will see you there. But seriously Vince, don't soend the extra money needed to compete if you are starting to get something going for a career.
We all gotta pay the bills, ya know . Good luck with whatever path you chooose.

Vince have you ever thought that your supplements and other business's go bad when people find out who you really are and what you really look like. And have you ever truly thought about taking Kenny Rodgers advice.

Vince, you are aware that "Pre-paid legal services" is Multi Level Marketing, do you not?
MLM allows people to quickly set up a fully established tax deductible home based business very quickly for a very low price. Usually all the supplies are included and overhead is inexpensive. Anyone can do it if they are taught correctly but they aren't.
Pre-Paid Legal is a service which means I don't have to stock or keep track of inventory. All I have to do is run some cheap newspaper ads with my website and toll free number listed and mail out a couple of brochures or magazines. Basically, I do the same thing that other insurance companies do
In other words, very little work for a pretty decent return and most importantly residual income from people who keep the memberships. How hard is it to run some cheap newspaper ads and mail out information??..... ::)
I keep two websites, one for memberships www.melvingoodrum.com and 1 for recruiting.. www.mymoneyislegal.com.
As far as the business is concerned, I got no complaints and when I show others what I do, then it only increases income because its easily duplicatible without them having to run around and harrass people on the streets or friends and family. They can work their regular jobs like normal, have more time for their families, and have that extra money coming in

Yea, the days of the mom and pops general nutrition business is pretty much over and done with and I was smart enough to see the money I was losing from continued investment upon it.
However, I'm not going out of business....lol. Businesses have to change for the times and mine is no different.

A businessman needs credibility supported by integrity. Those qualities are earned from having knowledge and respect. Melvin did get a free trip to the Olympia but it was for his ability to work up the crowd like he used to do for hillbilly wrestling. We have eye witness reports how he did that so well that the wrestlers he was stirring wanted to belt the heck out of him. We were all conned by Venom Vince Versace's hype about how great he looked for the Billy Guns posedown. The guy who showed up on the makeshift posing platform was an ordinary guy who presented with no visible abs and about 25+% bodyfat. The photos from that posedown show the 'cheerleaders' howling with laughter. Melvin was a hoot and I suppose a tool. How anyone can boast about how great he looks and strip off to reveal an untrained body is the stuff of comedy like you witness on Jerry Springer. Is it any wonder that Vince G CSN MFT can't sell any protein supplements? I mean, who wants to look like him??
If we patch together several of Melvin's statements from the past year we find that Melvin lost a job in the mobile phone area. Shortly after that he had to move so lost his 'warehouse'. He posted a photo of himself posing beside a trailer and he said he lived there and took his laptop down by the lake for some peace of mind. Clearly, Melvin had hit rock bottom. He mentioned that he took his stamps and coupons to Las Vegas to get free meals and giveaways. Otherwise, he couldn't afford that 'free' trip.
Somehow Melvin has been able to purchase the ISSA instructor's material and hopes to pass that course and get a certificate. We wonder about his CSN and MFT. Those famous credentials mean very little and the way Melvin shows up looking fat and untrained it appears he cannot train himself let alone anyone else. We can excuse Melvin for his condition at the Olympia posedown because he couldn't afford a gym membership, being unemployed and all. Melvin sounds like he has picked himself up from the floor and is on the way to success. We await the new Goodrum armed with his extensive personal training knowledge. He will be unstoppable!
