Title: Question
Post by: kcballer on December 19, 2007, 12:13:22 PM
just curious but i hear a lot about site injections i.e. biceps, triceps, shoulders rather than the age old glutes.  What is the purpose of site injections? will it increase that muscles size? or is it just a different place to inject?

Rotating injections is necessary due to the frequency of injecting oil into the muscle.  Unless you are talking about peptides (IGF-1) it's not for site specific muscle growth.  If you were to inject say test prop EOD into your glutes you would end most likely up with too much oil in the muscle and it doesn't have the necessary amount of time to absorb.  Therefore it's best to rotate between sites.

Here's a decent site for reference, not the best, but better than nothing:

It's all a myth. I've been injecting into my ass for 7 years. If this logic was correct I would have an ass the size of a VW Rabbit or maybe a Honda Fit in case you didn't know what a VW Rabbit is, but in case you don't know what the Honda Fit is you can just go back and use the VW analogy if you want to.

All a myth eh?  First person I've heard say that =)  Not saying you are wrong, but every single person I've ever talked to rotates site injections.

im assuming he was pickin up on the site injection to increase localised size, which is a myth upto a point... it could possibly work with small muscle groups if you put ed or eod shots in for a long periods of time, fuck knows what state that muscle group would be in tho

Hmm yea I already pointed that out in my post so I was thinking he was talking about not rotating sites due to absorption issues.

site injections are a myth unless you are talking about igf-1.  the purpose for rotating places where you inject is so that your receptors stay fresher and you absorb the goods better

I think people are talking about 2 different things:

Site injection, meaning the site in which you inject into.  This should be alternated in order to maintain fresh receptors and prevent abscess growth. In order to keep receptors fresh you should take a week off before injecting into the same site.  You likely won't have abcess problems unless you are injecting EOD for long periods of time to the same site.

Localize site growth, meaning that where you inject grows more than the rest of your body. Some people swear that IGF-1 will cause localized growth, other say its a myth, I personally don't notice any localized growth, but I always inject it bilatterally just incase. GH can also cause localized fat loss, this is not refuted.

Rotate sites to prevent excessive build up of scar tissue.

Rotate sites to prevent excessive build up of scar tissue.

Had a couple guys tell me recently they want to build up scar tissue in a lagging bodypart to make the muscle bigger, ie biceps for both of these guys...so they inject often into that site.

But with scar tissue, that is a stretch??? How would anything get absorbed if the site is full of scar tissue?

Yeah pretty sure it dont work the way they are thinking.  They should just get some pump and pose.  Anybody have any feelings on this stuff?

FreakFest is totally against it... He says Valintions arms are from scar tissue and infections...
30-50ml at a whack was somthing of a guess...

No, no pump and pose. That is what I suggested but they were serious about building up the scar tissue! But then again, that must be why they are middle weights.  ;)

I just can not see how a build up of scar tissue is doing any good?? Just thought I would see if their "theroy" held any water. I actually walked away laughing to myself thinking, why do so many people make it more complicated than it needs to be?

scar tissue tears very easliy.......  i for one dont go for the igf localised growth, didnt do it for me and i used quite a bit  last year, does give u a pump and a little volume, but i think thats just down to irrititation from pinning it, as it goes away soon as u stop doin it
