Depends on how long you've been with the gf and who else will be present during the opening  ;D

You can mix and match, why not?  Back when I used to celebrate Xmas and wrapped gifts (in Festivus if their is gifts you hurl them as hard as you can at the person and if they catch it and remain standing they get to keep it) I had to do a patch job on a gift.

boooo!! It's not the paper that counts - it's the gift!!     ;D

Or, most wrapping paper is white on the other side, he can put the white side out and then color with crayons or markers some designs.  That would make it really special and fun!

Not a bad idea.

Or you could just strategically place the box under the tree so the unwrapped side can't be seen  :P

When I was a kid and we ran out of paper, mom would use brown paper grocery bags and draw designs on it.  She was a good artist tho.

Yeah and CalvinH, will it fit into a gift bag?  Those are nice :)

Meanwhile, yes just wrap w/another type of paper to finish the job.  The fact that you went out and bought it and wrapped it is very sweet.  She shouldn't care about the crappy wrap job.

No, not yet, ...but I am getting a little nauseated.

I would tell you about the virginity thing, ...but it might be offensive to the hyper sensitive.  :-X

Where was it said that a comment about losing one's virginity was offensive?

And yes, it was I who made the comment about pouring salt in that carved tattoo.  Have you not heard the expression "like pouring salt in an open wound"?  Judi...I didn't make that expression up  ;)

I didn't say you did. I  have heard the expression before, (as a 'figure of speech'). I just thought it was a little twisted that that was the first thing you thought of, and in a literal rather than figurative sense. No biggie. You hardly need to explain yourself to me. I just thought it was twisted, ...but hey, some people's minds just work that way.

Twisted huh?  Some people's minds just work that way?

Interesting.  Kinda like talking about someones dead mother's bug infested corpse, rotting corpse?

Sounds like some minds are a bit more twisted than others.  ;)

 LOL @ STella!

I would have Vischous from the Black Dagger Brotherhood's name carved into my back and salt poured in it and be his shellan.   8)

No, that was just deliberately mean, ...not automatically perversely twisted. But hey, when you got a lot of pain inside twisted shit comes up. No biggie. Like i said before, you don't have to explain yourself to me. I already got your number long ago.  :)

no, I guess the Black Dagger Brotherhood books are classified as paranormal romance?   All I know is I picked up #5 (Lover Unbound Vischous' book) that was in the grocery store and then I had to go and get the first 4 when I finished it.   8)

I have since read them all twice.   :D
