POete:
Try e-bay.
I have amassed one of the largest privately held collections of early Eugen Sandow-inspired lifting gear from the Victorian era. Much was purchased via e-bay. You may PM me for more details,
Mike

Isn't it obvious? They look like oversized testicles. Just the way "Pete" likes 'em.

Those old globe barbells are really hard to come by these days I know that. The people that have them don't part with them easily. I'd love to have a few to dress up my gym. I already have a couple of antique penny arcade strength testers on diplay right now, a 15' tall hammer and bell striker and coming soon an arcade arm wrestling machine! Fun stuff.

Why would you say this is a waste of money?
I bought spider man #1 comic book at a flea market in 1978 for 0.25 cents...now woth $11,000.00
Would you consider that a 'Fucking waste of money'?
If so, you could use some lessons in fiduciary responsibility, "Man Of Steel".

It means you're making a fool of yourself. If you look at the original post, you'll see a short hand for joking. Relax.
:).
On the Globe dumbbells, try searching "shot-loaded dumbbell" on google a few companies still make them. There's also pda-ironhorse www.fractionalplates.com , they make close to anything for a price.
I love a few to decorate my weight room.

Hey cool. I see a pair of Indian clubs in the window. My mom used to tell me about using them in gym classes way back when. Do you have one of those vibrating fan-belt weight loss machines? :D
-
Cool stuff. Those squat stands are the exact ones that I purchased from York and used in my basement when I was a kid. Back then I was the shit because i had a York 400lb olympic set and squat racks in my house. All my friends had the Kmart plastic weights! ;D

You can also try Nick Ugolik at Metal Health Gym in Wallingford, CT.
Going there (other than to train) is like visiting a museum with memorabilia.
