When I quit watching it he already had 2 td passes...didn't he only need 3?

I was at the game. Brady came out of the game when he had a chance to throw his 49th td pass of the year to tie the all time record.

Brady took himself out on the Miami 40 with a full set of down and plenty of time left to play. If he wanted to run up his stats he would have stayed in and threw his 49th td.
