Where are the predictions???
Isaac... Yogi... speak up boyz!!!
-
Can't be the right list! No Amanda Savell on it. She placed 2nd last year at the Figure show and with Lado out, should win the contest.
-
I thought I'd wait until confirmation was made on arnoldselections.com and then base my predictions on what the charts and graphs say. ;D
I will be making my predictions, doing previews and interviews with the ladies going into the show.
As I mentioned on http://www.hardbody.com/news/2007/12/18/on-the-record-arnold-classic-2008/ a few days ago there would be some surprises. Despite many thinking Mo was retired, not the case. There are a few fresh faces that are great additions to the line-up.

Oksana Grishina

Does this mean you're postponing the reality show and attending the Arnold?
-
Congrats to all the ladies. So happy to see Mo still in the mix.
Hey Isaac, where's Amanda Jo???

I think Amanda said in a bb.com interview that she was waiting until the Olympia next year even though she was 2nd last year. Is Monica actually committed to doing the show or is she just invited? I would love to see her finally get a win before she retires but what else can she possibly do to improve her body? Maybe go back to blonde? ???

Yes, Mo applied to be in the show and committed to doing the show, if she was accepted. Now that she is, fans will see her on stage once again.
Val is getting a great deal of exposure on the American Gladiator commercials - this is great for Val and for all figure competitors. It will bring more attention to IFBB figure and this show in particular.
-
Congratulations to all the athletes who were selected!
A big props to my girl Julie for making the cut! Congrats Baby!
This year definitely brings some new faces and quite a changeup in the lineups, should be interesting!
See you all in Columbus!!

Congratulations to everone selected for the Arnold fitness/figure and Bodybuilding. And for all of you who dieting through the holidays. Kudos to you!!!! Intense to say the least. I saw the video of the Olympia and Oksana's routine was breathtaking. I just loved it, and Julie's routine was very technical it is going to be a great show for sure. Best wishes to all of you training and dieting right now. Now back to my french fries.....just kidding. :P
-
Big Congrats to Kristal Richardson and Oksana Grishina!!!! BodyWell Nutrition is very proud to be represented by both ladies. Good luck to everyone with your prep.
-
Congrats to all the Ladies!!! Especially My friend Julie Lohre ;D
-
Thank you Nancy, Lori and of course my hubby, Rick!!!! I am SOOOO excited to be competing in Columbus. It has been a long time since I competed at a show I can drive to and bring everyone I know ;D I am also working on an incredible new routine that is top secret. I guarantee it will be more difficult than anything I have attempted in the past. Can't wait to do it for the first time at the Arnold!
Congratulations to all of the women that will grace the stage. This is truly an honor. 9 weeks and counting!
Julie

I'm the one that's lost, mbell...Empty, I should say. All my life I wanted the Amanda to win the Arnold. It was like a quest, you know? Something burning inside. And I feel like, I don't know, like my pilot light went out...What do we do now?
It's got everything. Sex. Politics. Everything but one key ingredient. Denny Crane. I'm in.
-
Hey Danny crane since you are in for this show, the General is always present to ......... :-X
-
I'm so confused !! How is Amanda NOT competing at the Arnold?
-
why isnt heidi fletcher in this line up? ???

I think they approved this around November 27, 2007. It was posted on Hardbody.com, so the Arnold Classic Figure is just following the approved height classes...
NEW HEIGHT CLASSES FOR WOMENS FIGURE NATIONALS AND CONTESTS WITH SIX HEIGHT CLASSES:
Up to 51
Over 51 and up to and including 52-1/2
Over 52-1/2 and up to and including 54
Over 54 and up to and including 55-1/2
Over 55-1/2 and up to and including 57
Over 57

Hi Ron, yes that is correct we have been expecting the new height classes. But the amateur competitor lists are still based on the entry forms, and hence the old height classes. We are working to move everyone around and should have new "adjusted" lists available by the end of the week.

I think that the original entry forms said the old height classes, as many did, before the new changes in November. Some promoters plan these shows months in advance. But, the new rules will apply to the NPC Shows.
See you at the Arnold...
