Title: Pats game to be simulcast on CBS and NBC.
Post by: Mad Nickels on December 26, 2007, 06:02:43 PM
Serious question. Do you think The Pats going for an undefeated season will affect the UFC buyrate this Saturday? I am thinking a lot of sports bars might not show 79 in favor of the Patriots going for history. All of the Boston area will be watching the Pats and so will most sports fans. BTW, the game was supposed to air only on the NFL Network but the NFL has decided to give the fans what they want and simulcast it on CBS and NBC.

wow im surprised the NFL network conceded
i dont think it will be a good game though
but watching the Pats win and potentialy go undefeated is pretty great
i'd rather see the UFC though, they have a great card

I think it is a little funny they will be playing against a Manning for this game... :)

I don't think the Giants will be much of a problem for them. Unless something stupid happens they will go 16-0.

AS much as they all say that it means nothing to them, you know that it does and the'll do whatever it takes to win. If they go winless they better win the Super Bowl or this means nothing.

like the Colts in 05. That's all everyone talked about was them going 16-0. They won 13 in a row before they got beat...then the real pisser was they got their ass beat in the play offs by Pitsburg.

i would watch it if i could but i wont have access to a tv this weekend...I heard goodell was going to try and make the majority of the season only play on the NFL network in like a year or two...this would definitely suck!!!!!!

the first half should be very good...Brady and Moss should get their records by then and then it will be a snore fest...

I can't believe NE didn't get called for that finger poke to the face. That should have been 15 yds and out of the game for 75.

I don't think he was trying to poke him in the eye like announcer said...but still should have been called.

Unbelievable...they call TOOMER for a personal foul out of bounds but they let the finger poke go.

No. They certainly would have called it if they had. I still don't get the call on Toomer...the ref said it was against kicking team ( NE) but it was actually against NY and on replay I couldn't see anyone on either team do anything wrong.
