Title: I have a LONG way to go but slowly I am getting there....
Post by: Deicide on December 29, 2007, 07:14:04 AM: I started lifting when I was 25. I am 30 now. Up until 25 I hadn't done a lick of sport in my whole life and at 5'8" and 220lbs was obese and very unhealthy. Considering these factors I think I have made decent progress. A month ago I began a diet; I plan on sticking with it as long as I need to until I get the results I want. I want to get down to 10% body fat. I have never seen my abs before so hopefully by then I will be able to see them. At the moment I am at least 25%, I think, maybe more. How much body fat am I carrying would you estimate? These were taken a week ago.

Why...it will be a good point of comparison, assuming I achieve my goals. I know I look like shit; I have never bragged about having an awesome body, amazing lifts or anything else for that matter. Just a guy with below average genetics who likes to work out.

I like lifting and I try to stay consistent but I am not an athlete and never will be. I think if I drop all the weight I will look decent. I don't have good genetics so. I know I will be bashed; who cares. As I said I have never made inauthentic claims about my lifts, body or other physical feats and if you look carefully 90% of my posts are on the relgion and politics section. I know getbig. I think many people get bashed especially because they lie about their lifts or their body. These pics are simply an attestation to my honesty.

I have worked very hard, believe it or not. I know it doesn't look that way but considering my starting point, I have indeed.

Right now or for the past 3 weeks I have been doing ass to grass...boy what a difference! Parallel can squat 280lbs for 8 reps. For ass to the grass I need to go down to 200 for 8 reps.

I don't have a drivers license, much less know anything about cars. I am curious as to why you would ascribe automotive knowledge/skills to me. Care to share?
