?
I think yes.....some good signs at his myspace page....... :)
-
if he does earl1972 will die overdosing on sniffing oiled trunks getting the news
-
Now would be the perfect time to get back into all the illegal activities involved with bodybuilding.
-
If he was smart, he would stay away...He has nothing to prove...He will go down as one of the best to never win the title...Although he knows his body like no other human on the planet, he is getting older...And we all know that the older you get, the less predictable your body becomes...It would be a travesty if he made another run at it and came in way off...With the problems he has had with his back and his legs, these are still two body parts that need to be close to perfect to really make a move...
-
He wouldn't have a chance against the pros today.

no way jose

No. There is always speculation about big names in the sport after they haven't competed for a few years, but nobody ever actually makes a comeback, despite the fact that they all "talk" about it. The one or two who have tried just made fools out of themselves.

Not Sure.

Maybe he'll follow in Shawn's footsteps and go on to promote a new money-losing IFBB show in some one-horse town. ;D

Arnold didn't place to shabby in 1980 ;)

Blatant gift from uncle Joe. (plus Arnold was barely 30 at the time)
-
He could have taken it in 2007 no problem. 2008 is his last chance to go all out - take the full year to prepare - make the ultimate comeback - and win it - then retire on top as MR. OLYMPIA. It's unfinished business and he still has what it takes.
-
No, move on with your life.
ok "prophet". ::)
-
he's smart enough to keep his bbing fans interested because he knows that, at least, they will go see his movies. not too dissimilar to arnold.
when you're in the business of being seen, you don't shut the door on a fan base, no matter how small. ;)

most likely once he realizes he is not going to make it in Hollywood, I don't say that to be negative, but the chances of someone his age going from pro bodybuilder to successful actor are pretty slim.

The idea sounds nice but taking a 185-190 body to a bulked 280s and down to a ripped 260 at 42 years old is not a healthy idea. Even if he did, he's not facing some slotches that he even at his best could just easily walk over. If he came back I am sure he would be aiming for getting the Mr. Olympia and where he is now thats' like a blind-folded, full court, hook-shot while sitting down. :-\ Kevin is an icon of bb and has nothing else to prove.

you obviously are still at the stage where you are buying up the LB's bullshit the pros yapp about

i hope so

What's up Earl 8)
Good to see a fellow Levroneite back on Getbig 8)
-
i hope so
Same here.
Is 43 really too old? Kevin has been off the heavy juice for a while and I bet he would respond very well. Historically he always has. It's basically certain that he would be top 10. I could see him doing very well.
-
He was a great BB but he is finished now.

He was a great BB but he is finished using gear now.
Fixed.
What would happen if he started using again? ???
-
Even if he did, he's not facing some slotches that he even at his best could just easily walk over.
Actually, he is. A Levrone in his prime would have won the O in 2006 and 2007. But that's the rub... he's not in his prime. Once these 40-y/o guys retire for a few years, it's near impossible for them to get back to form even if they wanted to.

True in general, but Levrone isn't just your average bodybuilder.

Hell he used to not even train until time to get ready for the O . He would literally transform in a few months.
-
No, next question.

Even if he could, which I don't belive he can, why would he? What's the point now? He's in his 40's. He's not at the start of a 6 or 8 year run as Mr O that would set him up financially for life. At best he might win it once. Why bother?
-
kevin is be a pro that realistically could come back...
back before he retired and all those years he only trained maybe 5 months out of the yr...he always "grew into" the olympia..
if he actually trained consistently ....not his style though.....he'd rather pick up chicks at cancun cantinas! cant fault him 4 that though! :D

Man.. this is one of the most stupidest things I've ever read. Kevin competed against the best bodybuilders of the history of this sport. He has beaten basicly everyone including the current top-3 Olympia guys(Jay, Victor and Dexter).
-

He was 33

Chris Dickerson, Whom I believe was 43 or 44 when he won his Olympia title in 1982, was not, in his case, 'too old' (nor was Coleman in 2005 at age 42).
However, he hadn't taken a layoff akin to what Kevin has with his bb career.

True...but layoffs always seemed to work for Levrone.

Sure. It may be a good thing for someone such as he.
