I do and Zeus willing I will be leaving this country next year and very likely I will NEVER again live in the states but I dislike religiosity in general, hence my objections.

Because he believes in God.

If you don't then that's your choice but he does.

Making the statement that God gave us freedom does not make it a religious message. All it says is that he believes that God gave us freedom.

I think you're being over analytical about the ad.

Zack, he's just stating his beliefs. His beliefs and his faith do not require that you believe in them also.

If you believe in his platform then it's all good. Those that don't will find things to criticize.

That's a good point. For me, philosophically, God gave us everything from herpes to freedom.

Politically, our Constitution gives us our freedom. The people of China have freedom too (in the existential sense) but their political climate is not the same as ours and they do not enjoy the same extent of freedom as we do.
